Awesome little motel! I’ll be recommending to my friends and family. Would definitely stay again. It has a kitchenette but no dishes or cutlery so bring some along if needed! Beds, pillow and shower were excellent.

The room was decent and clean. The air conditioner was old, loud and making noise. Disturbing. The shower went from a set temperature showering to suddenly boiling hot making me scream. The beds were not that comfortable we felt and I didn’t like the microfibre sheets. They dont feel good against the skin.The room had a strong scent of something which was a bit overwhelming. Some fragrance smell. Overall the room was clean, nice sitting area outside. Fairly quiet.

Great convenient location where you can easily access getting to other locations on the island to visit sites. Great locally run business. Easy to deal with very satisfied with the booking. Wish we could have stayed longer due to the convenience.

Room was fine. Staff was terrible. I went to the office for ice at 7:55pm and was yelled at saying “NO! The office closes at 8:00pm. Go to the convenience store and buy ice but the store will be closed too.” No sign on the door saying when the office closes and nothing on the website.

The room was very cute, clean and the service was great. The bed was excellent very comfortable. We would definitely stay again. There is nothing really around for food but the nearest town is only 20 mins away and it was not a big deal. Thank you for a great stay.

The property is well maintained and very modest. Good value for the money, but it is not located close to sightseeing attractions. There is a beach and very nice St Paul’s church on the walking distance which is apparently the first church in Ontario. Staff is friendly. The only thing is that attractions are elsewhere on the island as this part of the island is slowly dying,

After hours driving on the road, sitting outside of our room drinking a cold beer, chatting with the owner and fellow travelers, breathing in the beautiful Manitoulin Island air were all that we wanted and My Friends Inn gave us just that.
