David was super nice and helpful. We got an upgrade to an apt due to them being full which he gave tu us, as a family, which was just so nice. The bus ride is very easy into San Sebastian and the bus stop is right infront of the hotel. I fully recommend.

Great value for money!
This is a very comfortable base for visiting Donastia-San Sebastian. Check in was well organised. They emailed a code for a letterbox where our key was. You then register at reception the next day. The room was spacious and comfortable with a decent sized bed and large shower room. House keeping was spotless. The hotel is in the little town of Astigarraga about 10 minutes by bus from the centre of Donostia-San Sebastian. There is plenty of street parking. Its very convenient and a fraction of the cost of staying in the city centre.

Cozy Stay with Convenient Amenities at Pensión Txi
I recently stayed at Pensión Txingurri and had a positive experience. The check-in was easy, and the room had a pleasant scent and cozy ambiance. The comfortable king-size bed provided a good night's sleep, and the bathroom had a refreshing shower with strong water pressure. The price was reasonable considering the quality of the room. The convenient bus connection to the city center, taking less than 15 minutes, was a major advantage. Despite being slightly away from the center, the affordable price made it worthwhile. Nearby, a supermarket and parks for kids added to the convenience. However, there were minor issues. I experienced a smoking smell from another room, but it was resolved after the guest stopped smoking. Additionally, an unnerving incident occurred with the emergency light turning on and off at midnight. Despite these issues, my overall experience was positive. I recommend Pensión Txingurri, especially for families seeking affordable accommodations with easy access to amenities and nearby attractions.

Don’t pre book for breakfast - terrible value
There is no one working at reception after 3 pm. They leave key for you in a locked box. Be sure to check your phone and email for messages from hotel. Buy your own breakfast somewhere… the bar/cafe next door is terrible value for the money if you prebook it, and only available after 9:30 am.

Great option if you have a car
The place was immaculate, is outside city center in a commercial area about 6 km distance from San Sebastian but a good area to use as a base with a car and explore San Sebastian, St Jean de Luz and Bayonne France. The property has a restaurant next door ideal for breakfast and dinner if you are too tired to go somewhere else plus parking is free. Service was great and overall pleased with price and quality.

Ideal overnight stop
Overnight stop here twice within 3 weeks before and after getting the Eurotunnel. Perfect for what we required. Had a spacious comfortable apartment with kitchen including hob and microwave. Excellent price. Good sized supermarket located within walking distance.
