Stunning View Property Of Columbia River And Astoria-Megler Bridge from Hot Tub

Astoria Home Stay License 19-06. Recently remodeled 1926 home above Union town with wrap around decks with large living space, including living room, kitchen and dining room to comfortably accommodate 2-6 people. New Hot Tub w/View! Watch the ships travel under the Megler through the two large picture windows in the living room. Share a drink and BBQ on the back deck while watching the sun set, or the eagles and herons fly above. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to feel right at home. Downstairs there is a sauna in the Finnish tradition. Upstairs two bedrooms one overlooking the same amazing view, and both with comfortable pillow-top queen mattresses. Bathroom upstairs for easy access. There is a new hide-a-bed couch in a common area. Home is at the end of a quiet dead-end road, with local traffic only. We have acquired a lodging permit from the city of Astoria. Great walking trail leads to a nice walk to the top of the hill or down a staircase to connect to sidewalks for a walk down to the trolley, to take you and your family to town, or to the esplanade to bike or walk to town on your own. Owner lives in attached apartment in basement.

Lots of opportunities for togetherness or alone time during our girl's getaway with daughter, daughter-in-law and granddaughter. We were here to view the Beaver moon and King tides. Weather and accommodations did not disappoint! After returning from being outside in a magnificent storm, we warmed up around the fireplace that was ready to go with the strike of a match! The view from the living room couldn't have been better to see the ship activity and the Megler bridge. Later a sauna was the perfect ending to the day. The house is very clean, extremely well stocked with everything you might need to prepare your meals or relax with books or games. In good weather the outside deck, fire pit, and hot tub with fantastiv views couldn't be beat!

Beautiful!
This home is Astoria that overlooks the Columbia River and Bridge is our favorite place to stay. The view is breathtaking! We love the hot tub, fire pit, and deck complete with barbeque and patio furniture. The home is clean with a large kitchen, comfortable beds, and a fireplace to enjoy when the weather is cool. And we love the games and toys that are provided.

Delightful Getaway
Stayed here with family to go on a fishing trip (82, 61, 35 & 18 years old). Home was set up extremely well for both separate space and gathering. Had everything we needed inside and out. We did not heavily use the deck but liked how there were enough chairs outside to enjoy the view plus a picnic table. The view was incredible. Owners gave great communication to us from start to finish, available if we needed anything but giving us complete privacy. We did get a chance to meet one owner (Meg) on our way out. So friendly and glad we got a chance to say hello. They really care about making guests comfortable. We would highly recommend this property. Thanks! Scott, Bill, Andrew & Hunter

Most Beautiful place I have ever been
If you would like to see the Oregon coast there is no better place to stay than here. You would not believe how much there is to see 2 hrs east of here or 2 hrs down the coast, not to mention 35 minutes across the bridge to Washington. My wife and I were blown away when we stepped out on to the balcony of this home…Breathtaking!! A beautiful house that can be rented for less than a hotel room here and is so beautifully decorated and has unlimited amenities, everything you could possibly need. Frank and Meg are the best hosts,she told us anything we need just call or knock on the door, otherwise we will respect your privacy and they did 100%. When I return to the Oregon coast I would not even consider staying anywhere else The home is beautiful and the view is more beautiful that you could ever imagine. The best vacation I have ever had and a lot of it was do to choosing this as the place to stay.

From up on the hill overlooking the Columbia, Astoria, and the bridge, we had such an wonderful view! The house was great. There were plenty of places to get together or find privacy, if thats what you want. The hosts were very friendly and offered help and suggestions.

We had a wonderful weekend staying at this lovely house with an absolutely stellar view of the Columbia. Everything was clean, the hot tub was in immaculate condition, the owners were super friendly, and we even got to meet their adorable dog, Anna! Easily a 10/10 stay.

This place has a great view and was conveniently located to get into town. The hot tub and grill were a big plus. I did not realize the hot tub was on the managers property when I booked, and luckily they weren’t home so we didn’t have to worry about sharing. I found the instructions between the listing and the printed instructions to be different, which was a bit confusing. The listing says nothing about needing to strip your own sheets and garbage, but that is printed out in the house. The top rooms are comfortable, the basement is a bit spooky and musty. I booked this room 6 weeks in advance. About four days before check in the manager gave us a bit of anxiety by messaging to inquire as to who we were and why we were renting. I guess I answered correctly, but it was nerve racking to suddenly feel like they would cancel our reservation if they didn’t like my answer. I’ve never had someone personally message to make sure “their place would be safe,” but maybe this is a VRBO thing.

Fabulous!
This was our families second stay at this house and hopefully not our last. The view is spectacular! We love the hot tub, sauna, and fireplace. The kitchen is great for cooking. Lots of towels and good beds.

The view is amazing! The house was clean. We spent most of our time on the deck. The kitchen has everything you need. There is a nice barbecue, and large seating area outside as well. The hosts were awesome. My truck broke down in their driveway. Meg pulled out her jumper cables and gave me a jump. Twice. I went a little past checkout time repairing my truck in front of the house. She was very understanding and helpful. Frank was a really friendly guy as well. I'm sure he would have helped me, but he was gone fishing. We will be back for sure.
