Furnished Tartan house dating from the 19th century located 20 km from TOURS, excellent starting point to visit the castles of the Loire located in a radius of 15 to 30 km (Chenonceau, Amboise, Azay the curtain, Villandry, Chaumont sur Loire, etc. .). housing including a living room with open kitchen fully equipped (dishwasher, stove ceramic hob, microwave, washing machine), big screen TV, wifi, a room with double bed on the ground floor, one with two single beds upstairs, another with double bed upstairs. garden with trampoline, swings, garden furniture and barbecue available. can accommodate a baby (high chair, plian bed, recliner) speaks English.

Quiet spot with generous space
Lovely little break, and lots of space for the whole family. But the Vrbo listing is a 3rd party agent. We chose to book this property for all the amenities included only to find a week before that we'd be charged extra for bedding and towels, the property owner then saying she doesn't use Vbro and advertises through someone else and advertises for the extras on their site. Not a ruined holiday but added another level of worry when we only discovered this the day before getting on a ferry

Like staying in a story book home!
We arrived and were greeted by our host who showed us around. the building outside and in was exactly what we hoped. A rustic French country home (at least this American's pictures a country home). Plenty of room for all of us and space to eat outside or in. Walked down by the river, visited all the castles. Wonderful stay. He was patient with my husband's French, very friendly. highly recommend this place.

The property is in a fantastic location to visit Château castles around the Loire. My family of 5 were very comfortable, the house was clean and spacious, and the owners helpful and friendly. We highly recommend staying here.

Quaint, Quiet, Rustic
Quiet. Nice semi-rural location a short distance between two small villages with boulangeries and groceries. 10-15 min drive to Amboise with chateau, many restaurants, and a very large Sunday market. Hosts are pleasant & helpful. Internet can be a little intermittent at times. Easy parking.

Als wir gesehen haben wie die Farbe von den Wänden blättert sowie die Feuchtigkeit und den Schimmel haben wir die Wohnung sofort wieder verlassen und uns eine andere Wohnung gesucht. Ob die Löcher und Fressspuren in den Sockelleisten wirklich von Mäusen stammen können wir dagegen nur vermuten.

Gite rustique fonctionnel et confortable au calme avec tout ce qu'il faut. La literie est de très bonne qualité, top avec les enfants ( attention à l'escalier)! Ils ont apprécié le trampoline la balancoire leur grande chambre les jeux les BD. Proprietaires au petits soins. C'est une bonne adresse !

Très agréable séjour
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans ce gîte à la campagne. C'est une maison ancienne qui est bien équipée, son charme nous a beaucoup plu et sa situation est parfaite pour visiter les châteaux et faire des promenades au bord du cher. Marie-Pierre et gilles nous ont très bien accueillis, nous reviendrons avec plaisir aux beaux jours.

Un agréable weekend
Nous avons passés un agréable séjour. Le village de Bléré est plaisant et nous avons apprécié le chateau de Nitray et la balade au bord du Cher. L'escalier est certes escarpé mais les chambres à l'étage sont spacieuses. Le logement est bien équipé et nous avons eu la chance de pouvoir profiter de l'extérieur car il faisait beau.

Maison "dans son jus"
Après une semaine passée dans cette location, très surprise de la note élevée de ce gîte. Maison bien située pour visiter les châteaux de la Loire. En revanche, elle est "dans son jus" aucun investissement pour que les locataires se sentent bien. La maison dispose du minimum de confort pour accueillir : canapé et lits anciens inconfortables, lave vaisselle qui ne semble pas répondre aux normes et donne des décharges électriques, moisissures dans la salle de bain, peu adapté aux enfants en bas âge.

Idealer Ausgangspunkt für die Besichtigung der Schlösser der Loire
Die geräumige Ferienwohnung mit viel Platz liegt in einem Weiler ca. 15 Minuten von Amboise entfernt. Die Ferienwohnung / Haus liegt optimal um die Schlösser der Umgebung zu besuchen. (z. B. Chenonceau 20 Minuten, Chambord 65 Minuten - Direkte Anbindung an die Landstraßen) Es gibt eine schöne Möglichkeit draußen unter dem Baum zu sitzen. Die Inneneinrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber hat Charme. Es gibt mehrere Katzen auf dem Gelände.

Jolie maison de pierres, arbres et nature mais pas très confortable. On ne sent pas l'investissement pour que l'on y soit bien. Pas de chaises longues, pas de petite attention à l'accueil comme une bouteille d'eau ou un jus de fruits au frais. Terrasse très proche de celle des propriétaires au point de pouvoir suivre leurs conversations, et de les entendre de notre lit quand ils reçoivent. Pas d'intimité. Souplesse au niveau horaires et réponse à nos questions mais sans plus.

Gîte très agréable et bien agencé malgré un escalier intérieur un peu raide mais praticable. Au calme, dans un jardin ombragé et fleuri. Propriétaires mitoyens, discrets, serviables et chaleureux.
