I did not like waiting until the last minute for instructions for accessing our room. Owner could have kept in touch personally instead of sending repeat prewritten emails requesting my passport.

this was clean and sufficient to stay the night to get to the airport. Shuttle was provided on time. We could not get in the gate as the code provided was wrong. They were quick to come out and get us in. The bed was hard but sheets, pillow and towels were nice. It has cold water in the frig. The shower had extremely hot temperature and it took a while for it to cool down and we were almost burned. a short walk to the grocery store was nice. GPS had a hard time finding address, it would have been helpful if they sent us a picture of the gate.

We arranged a shuttle through the property to pick us up at a ferry port before check in but it never showed up. The room was clean but very warm and the AC struggled to bring the temp down. With two requests, they finally brought us a fan 6 hours after check in with the person delivery it saying to us, “This is very difficult”, whatever that meant. We couldn’t get the coffee maker to work and a hot plate was on low and we couldn’t get it turned off but the property never responded to an email for help with the issues, with how we had been communicating. The airport shuttle thankfully was on time at check out but we would not recommend staying at this property.

Clean, safe and convenient to the airport
Overall, I would recommend for movement to/from the airport. If you have an early morning flight as we did, it’s not far from the airport and is convenient. If is not a place I recommend to book for your entire vacation. We arrived in from another island and had an easy pick up from the airport. The following day our flight out of Athens was at 0500 but the shuttles do not run 24/7 and the earliest was 0345. That would’ve given us one hour for an international flight, so I called the customer service line and they booked a taxi and provided details so we could wait out front for them.

Perfect one night stop over for the Athens airport. Simple instructions, secure, clean, and airport pick up and drop off was key. I will stay here again.

The only advantage was the proximity to the airport, this is not a place with any interest for tourists. It's very nice that they provided us with transportation from and to the airport

The rooms were too hot at about 80 degrees with the AC on. It was an uncomfortable experience even when provided a fan. We woke up multiple times through the night to place wet towels on our feet and neck to cool down. The towels provided were still damp. They were not fully dry when needing to shower. It was not worth the price.

We were a late arrival. Communication via WhatsApp with the hotel staff was great. They ensured airport transfer even with our delayed arrival. Instructions to enter the premises and hotel itself were well given. However, the AC unit was not working at all. Even when we set it per the suggested settings. We did not sleep at all and didn’t even get into the bedsheets. It just never cooled down. However it was already past 11pm so I didn’t reach out to hotel staff, figured we would give it a while to cool down. But it never did. We had airport transfer arranged for 4am so at that point there was no sense in letting anyone know.

While we enjoyed our stay at GK-Mediterranean Village, there was a bit of confusion when we arrived. I was under the impression this was a hotel, but it is a gated community with lockboxes to get in and no front desk/lobby. Thankfully the managers were responsive to email, and we were able to gain access fairly quickly, but it would have been helpful to know this prior to arrival. Also, because we thought it was a hotel, it was a bit hard to find for our taxi driver. Literally an unmarked gate in an alley. That said, the room was clean and comfortable, with a kitchenette and restaurants close by. The airport shuttle was convenient.
