1st and last trip
We were in town for a softball tournament and only stayed 1 night. I can't complain about the overall cleanliness or friendliness of the staff My complaint is the shady people that hang out around and inside the hotel. People screaming in the halls. People randomly walking by knocking on doors. Obvious drunk people hanging out in the parking lot. We checked in late and had to leave early as our kids had to play their 1st game at 8am but honestly, I was more than happy to leave and will stay somewhere else is we ever play another tournament in Athens.

A wonderful staff that went out of their way to shuttle us around town. Very friendly and very helpful! This is the only place that i will stay in Athens!!!

The room and hotel in general appeared fairly clean on the surface. However, it could have used a more deep cleaning. I was thankful that I had brought anti bacterial wipes as I had to clean leftover "stuff" from the front of the toilet bowl. The shower curtain appeared stained. I accidentally spilled water on the floor and used a towel to wipe it up. The towel was black when I was finished. The bed was fairly comfortable. However, it was pushed up against the wall. Thankfully I was alone or someone would've been climbing over the other to get up in the middle of the night if they needed to use the restroom. No coffee maker in the room, which was a bummer. The hotel could definitely use some updates. Think Florida 1990's lol I guess I didn't expect much for the cheap rate so I wasn't surprised or disappointed. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
