Overall it was exactly what me and my wife needed for a hotel. Nothing too fancy but clean and in a good location geographically. The surrounding area is a little sketchy looking when you arrive however after a while you realize it’s really not that bad and nothing to worry about. Great restaurants and cafes all around this property.

It is well maintained and clean. Accessible to everything from food convenient store and transportation. The check in was very convenient as we check in late even if reception was closed all instructions were given properly. Staff was very helpful. Highly recommended

We stayed here based on the fact that it was rated as “exceptional” and it seemed like a good value. However, when we arrived, we did not understand and still don’t, how this hotel could have ever been rated as exceptional. Firstly, let me say that the staff were wonderful. They were very helpful and kind but other than that, I would not recommend staying here unless you’re in a larger group. Our group consisted of two women and we definitely did not feel like the area was safe at all. The staff even warned us against going out after dark in certain areas or taking the train etc at night. In addition, It was absolutely boiling hot outside and our room temp was consistently in the mid to upper 80s F. I tried to resolve this all night long with the staff, who had already left the premises for the day. It never was able to get solved and I don’t know if our AC was broken or there was something else preventing it from getting cool, but needless to say we didn’t get any sleep and we didn’t dare venture out because we didn’t feel safe to do so in the area the hotel is located.

When you first arrive you are wondering where you have been taken. Once inside, it gets a little better. Maybe its common in Greece (not in America), but there was no deadbolt once you were inside the room. It was a keypad entry into the room, but once inside, nothing to feel safe. We had a lot of luggage as we were beginning on a month long vacation, so we shoved our suitcases by the front door. Thankfully we did, because someone opened our door and then left once they hit the suitcases. The next day I told the front desk and they gave us a handwritten Do Not Disturb sign. Great, except not. Two more times we had peolle try to enter the room. They also said the doors and windows were soundproof, which was not the case. Especially the front door to the hallway. So noisy all the time, and with the fear of someone coming in, it made for uneasy sleeping. The price was good, but not worth the constant fear of being broken in to.

We found access easy and the two rooms were perfect for us. We slept well and it was great that we could store the board cases in the basement so we could explore with just purses before taking the green line to Piraeus. The receptionist was very helpful and so friendly!

The place is located near a station and close to walk to many places. The rooms were amazing, clean and since we were a big family they were able to connect the rooms. Helped us with the taxis we needed. Overall amazing experience! 100 percent recommended.
