First, the family room, designed for 3-4 people, has a GLASS BATHROOM DOOR. The room is so small one can see the activity on the toilet from basically everywhere in the room. I cannot fathom this design choice. Reason by itself to shun this hotel.
But if you are ok with fixing this absurdity with a sheet hung over the door (which, to be fair, was delivered promptly), still can't recommend.
We picked this hotel for three reasons: 1) family room that would hold 4; 2) location; and 3) roof-top bar.
1) The "family room" with a queen and bunk beds evidently has that configuration because it is too small for a typical double queen. No closet, no shelves, and nowhere to sit except the bed. It was chaos even after 36 hours. And, see above bathroom issue.
2) Location is indeed a ~10 minute walk to lots of things. But we came to tourist and eat Greek food, not partake in Mexican(!) food or shopping at H&M that's in the immediate area. We were basically 4-6 charmless blocks further away from everything than when we stayed about a half mile south at the edge of the Plaka.
3) The roof-top bar is west-facing and has no shade, making it basically useless in the summer for sunset. Breakfast was decent, but questionable without cooling in the 80 degree mornings.
On the plus side, agree that the daytime receptionist was very helpful, and we were there over a weekend and did not experience any noise issues.
