Check in took about 20 minutes since they only had two employees working. The room itself wasn’t bad but definitely could use a deep clean. Windows were dirty, shelves were dusty and behind the bed looks like it was never cleaned.

The area and the hotel are very safe, calm, everyone in their own things and many good service in the restaurants. Only one thing I can give feedback is the cleanliness in the room. Found a insect in the room wall. But nothing major.

We generally stay at the Golden Nugget on our trips to Atlantic City. It seems to be the most economical for the services we receive. The rooms are needing an update. Tub faucet was dripping, furniture has some nicks but overall room is okay. The gentleman who checked us in lacked personality and definitely wasn’t inviting. I don’t recall his name. We did eat there and the restaurant was fine

There for two nights and never had to leave the building. Stayed in a newly renovated room which we found to be very comfortable and spacious. Had an incredible day at the spa - started by using the gym, and after the massage treatment relaxed in the sauna, jacuzzi, and steam room. Ahh..... Dinner one night at The Chart House - food was delicious and service was friendly and attentive. Dinner the second night sitting at the bar at Dos Caminos. Meals are sharable size and the salsa has a flavorful kick to it. And of course spent a bit of time gambling. There during the weekdays, so the tables werent very crowded, which I prefer as I am still learning a few of the games and found the dealers to be patient with all my questions. This was the perfect escape.
