A quiet and clean place conveniently near the interstate. Friendly staff and easy check-in. Room was quiet and clean and while it was no-frills, it met our needs as a great place to sleep during our cross-county drive.

No frills but clean & pleasant
3rd stay at this property. One night stopover as we drive from Denver to Ohio. We have 2 dogs, so free pet policy is part of the draw. No frills, but very clean. Nice new bedspread, bed was comfortable. Front desk person very pleasant & helpful. One negative was the floodlight aimed directly at our window. Blackout curtains mostly blocked the light. Pleasant cornfield view.

Staff was nice, the room was musty when I went in like there was a humidifier left on for a month… I stayed in June and it was already humid and it didn’t seem to get better inside the room.

Ok for a night
It was ok....looking for an affordable place for one night and it was that. The mattresses were old and need replaced so it was hard to get comfortable. Walls seemed thin. Room was mostly clean, but flies kept coming in from somewhere. The window or vent? I killed 4, but always saw another buzzing around. No breakfast. For a family I would stay elsewhere with more comforts.

Comfy beds, very clean and modern, great shower heads and pressure, and friendly staff. PERFECT for a brief stay with family while driving through the cornfields. I would recommend this Motel 6, particularly to larger families. We slept 6 very comfortably without a suite.

My wife has pledged in the past to never have me book a motel with a number in it's name, but the motels in west Des Moines were sold out and it was getting late. We found this one with an available room so we took it and we are very pleased that we did. All Motel 6's are not created equal as this one exceeded our expectations in all areas of review.

Nicest Motel 6 I have seen in yrs of travel.
Nice room. Clean and comfy. People above us walked on their heels half the night, but that's not the hotel's fault. Area was ok.

Best Motel 6
Nicest Motel 6 we’ve ever stayed at and we own a trucking company. Older property but nicely updated, clean and comfortable. Truck friendly, they have a large parking area marked for truck parking. If it was full by chance then the McDonalds across the street has dedicated truck parking too. Didn’t expect much for a tiny town, we were very impressed.
