Will not return - all disappointing
The property was advertised as one price, and then we were charged significantly more. It was also advertised as being a 15 minute walk to campus, but it was actually almost an hour walk to campus on busy roads without sidewalks (in other words, not walkable). Additionally, there was a brown smear on the bathroom wall - I’m hoping it was mud and not feces, but I didn’t investigate.

Disappointing
When we checked in we found our suite had a lamp that didn't work and a dishwasher full of dirty dishes. We couldn't figure out how to start the dishwasher, so we assumed it was broken and asked for a different suite. The new one had the same problem, at which point we realized that there's some trick to starting the dishwasher that was unknown to us (and apparently also do the desk clerk). The suites have other deficiencies as well, e.g., no rack for your suitcases, no chest of drawers in the bedroom, and very few dishes even when they are clean. The upside is that they are clean and spacious. Still, we were disappointed and will not be coming back.

Positives: young lady at the front desk was very upbeat and helpful. Negatives: not clean (floor under beds wasn’t swept, counters not wiped thoroughly, no hand soap in bathroom, stained kitchen cloths, crumbs in pullout sofa), WiFi issues.

Super thin walls. Could hear everything the neighbor was saying at 1:00am I had a connecting room with the neighbor and he cooked something for dinner that had my room smelling like his dinner. I understand people can cook but my room should not smell like they were cooking on my room.

This was a great place to stay! Very easy for our soccer tournament weekend… close to fields and we were able to walk to our team dinner at a nearby Mexican restaurant. The room was clean and comfortable. The only downside might be the super thin walls. We were fine but the neighbors had a dog and stayed up fairly late so I could see that being a problem from time to time for certain guests. Other than that the common grounds were very nice with outdoor seating, a grill etc… also a very safe hotel feeling with many doors and points of entry that lock after you enter through them. We will stay here again next time we’re in Auburn!
