Cozy and convenient to the CBD--Great for a couple
We felt lucky to enter our loft apartment for the first time. Although small, the apartment-loft combination worked well for a couple. Bedrooms were off the main living areas and the loft was a private hideaway.
Our hosts had everything needed for the first day in a new apartment until one begins to know the neighborhood: laundry soap to coffee, tea, and a kettle.
The management company for the apartment was also prompt in correcting small defects such as a slow draining sink.
Again, we were pleased by our hosts' efforts to provide a quiet and convenient apartment to many of Auckland's sights.
Great location just off Queen Street which is the main road for shopping, a short walk away is Commercial Bay, Viaduct and fantastic restaurants etc. A New World supermarket is just a short walk away.
It was quite warm, and did not have any air conditioning, but had a fan in the upstairs room.
The toilet floor hadn't been cleaned. There was pee on the floor in front of the toilet. Not just a small amount, it was a mess.
Also the carpet in the rest of the apartment looked as though it had literally NEVER been vacuumed.
The state of the floor was actually appalling.
Otherwise a good apartment in a great location.
