Great location, close to cruise ship terminal. Very clean and quiet room. Not the most appealing view from the room and the steep sidewalk in front of the hotel. Great staff and good dining recommendations and the ability to book shuttle services with discount tickets for the hop on/ hop off bus. Very good breakfast.

Excellent contemporary hotel with great location close to the harbor and Main streets. Easy walking to sky Drive bus terminal which services Auckland airport. Staff very helpful. We used it as an overnight stay prior to airport departure. Great views from the upper floors. A nice fresh feel to the rooms.

Great Hotel if you don’t have a car
Hotel was great. Only issue is the inability of the hotel to park a rental at a reasonable rate. $59 a day is absurd.

Great location, however most of the desk staff seemed clueless. We arrived very early an were told they would text us when the room was ready, likely around 11. Never received a text. While trying to check out the desk staff kept saying but yiu have a 2 pm check out time why are you leaving. I explained we were headed to the airport. She kept insisting we stay until 2. No amount of explained seemed to satisfy her. However Ethan was a delight when we were finally able to check in.

Great Place in the CBD
This is really nice and conveniently located hotel in the CBD. Breakfast was great (Although I wish is started a little earlier) and the staff is very friendly. Loved our stay!

This was our favorite place to stay on our 2 week trip to Australia and NZ. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly and gave us great recommendations on where to eat. The room and shower waa great and so was the view. Would definitely recommend to others.

Great location 5 minute walk from Sky City and is 1 block from Queen Street. 5 minute walk to the waterfront. Staff was very nice and prepared. Breakfast very good. This hotel was one of the best parts of our trip. We enjoyed staying here a lot.

I hadn't been to Auckland CBD for many years and I found that finding the correct parking garage hard to do. The amount of roadworks and blocking of roads made this even harder. Cant fault the Hotel Holiday Inn Express. They were excellent.
