Perfect location in Gudvangen
The hotel is located very close to the pier from where we had to take the ferry. It is also right next to the bus station in Gudvangen. It is a very short walk from here to the Viking village. The views all around are stunning.

The view from our room was outstanding. We could see Kjellfossen from the skylight. The only knock was that our door lock malfunctioned. The staff got it repaired in about 1hr and gave us a free drink for the inconvenience. The food was good.

Viking themed room was early neat. Skylight showing waterfalls down the fjord. Good to have restaurants on site, nothing in the little town.

The room was designed with a Viking theme and had a lot of unique character. The surrounding area was very walkable and picturesque. We enjoyed walking around. The restaurant and breakfast area is large and set really nicely. Breakfast was good. Only concern was the big skylight in the room with no cover that let all the light in which impacted our sleep. The room provided very little privacy but the area was quiet so it was okay
