Worst Double Tree I have ever stayed at. Dining room and bar were closed for renovations with limited options made available. Only one ice machine available for a 15 story building and located at the end of a long hallway.

Lobby under construction. Valet-parking only.
Please note that despite the description on the Hotels.com, this location DOES NOT have free parking. It is valet-only. We found out upon arriving at the hotel. Valet was $51 nightly. Additionally, this hotel nor Hotels.com had never sent us the hotel confirmation number. Without this number, it was impossible for the hotel to find our reservation, despite having booked and paid for the reservation already weeks in advance. Hotels.com uses a Itinerary Number, which seems to be exclusively used by them and does not transfer with the booked hotel, itself. When I had called the hotel on the date of our travel, DoubleTree said they could not find my reservation. It was only after being on the phone with Hotels.com for 30 minutes and after 2 difference customer representatives that they were able to send me the hotel confirmation number. The lobby of this hotel was under significant construction. They were repainting the entryway, which limited in-coming traffic, causing vehicles to be backed out into the busy roads. Additionally, lobby was a mess with only one working elevator and busy with workers using tile cutters. Regarding the service, as a Diamond Member, I had assumed 2 free bottles of water daily with room clean. However, the next day, when I had asked for a couple bottles of water, the receptionist told me to come pick them up at the front desk. When I showed up, they seemed reluctant to let go of the water so I just offered to pay, having come all the way down.

While staying in this property I experienced many many issues beginning with the hotel it’s self, it’s been under remodel for over six months according to the staff, therefor many things don’t work and it’s extremely dirty every where you see. The staff isn’t helpful & the rooms are very poorly remodeled. In my room the handle to the balcony broke when I tried opening it, ripping a piece of my finger in the process that has left my finger disfigured & in lots of pain

I understand the lobby is undergoing upgrades but it was very inconvenient to get around. Nobody to show the way to the registration desk (which looked like a snack bar) and not even any signs to direct you to the registration desk. Elevator interiors were dirty. There were dishes in the hallway of our room that never got removed the entire time we were there. There wasn't a single trash can in our room until we were about to check out and only then at our request.

Thete wsd quite a bit of unmentioned, noisy construction when i arrived. However the desk people and the on duty supervisor upgraded my room and put me on the top floor, to isolate me from the noise. They transformed what initially seemed to be a wretchedbsituation, onto a blissfull reyreat. Thanks. K!

I liked that it's being remodeled and the cookies were amazing! The front desk staff was amazing. What I disliked is that I wanted to watch TV and it got very glitchy, all the channels. I understand that this is because it's under construction. I would have loved more illumination in the room. I like brighter spaces to live. I understand yellow light is cozy and nicer, but not for me. I like to have the option of white bright light where you can see yourself well when you put on makeup.
