COLD SHOWERS!! And NO I E!
The rooms are clean, but there was NO hot water. Had to shower in COLD water! And I was there 5 days! Not fun! ALSO, there ice machines in the 2nd and 3rd floors never worked! Had to go to the 1st floor to get ice every day. I doubt I will stay there again.

Everything was amazing. There was so many delicious breakfast selections and help was always ready at the front desk. Great fitness training room. The only issue I had was getting into the pool area. Gate didn't seem to open unless from the inside but my time in Austin was well spent.

There was NO hot water for our entire stay! The front desk attendants were not helpful. They gave us updates on the temperature (max temp they told us was 103) of the boiler when we pressed them for updates on the hot water but we never experienced anything close to warm or hot water in our room. Unacceptable for two nights in a hotel. Also, the bed creaked a lot and was very soft. Pillows were lumpy. The HVAC unit in the room smelled horrible when we switched it to heat and it was not possible to continually run the fan through the night - it only cycles on/off. When it would cycle off, it woke us up because the lack of white noise was startling. The mini fridge ran very loudly with a constant high pitch hum. Overall, we were not at all impressed or satisfied with this hotel and would never, ever stay here again.

We chose this hotel for its nearness to the Metrorail stop- however it was difficult to get to the hotel from there except by taxi. Once we had a rental car we could move around much easier. The hotel was great overall. I never did get into the whirlpool unfortunately but it looked lovely. Frieda’s restaurant next door is excellent though pricey.

We arrived at check in at 4 and was immediately encountered with disappointment. supposedly they had over booked and our king deluxe suite was given to someone else then the lady at the front desk proceeds to tell us "well you should have booked sooner " we booked days prior to the visit there was no lack of rooms then. Our room had broken outlets on the walls, sticky carpets, lingering odor and bugs in the lighting overall this hotel is not an 8.8 valued at a $60 to $80 at best.

Smell of Urine
Although the front desk attendant was not rude, she was not very welcoming. Her first words to me were not “Welcome to Hampton Inn”, but “May I help you”, without actually looking up to greet me first. In addition the room smelled of urine. I did inform the front desk about the issue, and they sprayed the room with air freshener. It helped some, but the room continued to smell of urine.

I was there on business and I must say this was the best hotel I’ve had since I’ve been traveling and the service is top-tier. The workers are amazing. Great breakfast and I just love the room in the bed was amazing.
