It was a nice room but when I asked to talk to a manager, the lady at the front desk was rude and did not meet my request with any type of professionalism or courtesy.

What a mess
Hotel was under renovation, Which I try to avoid ever having a reservation and a hotel that’s being renovated. I was not made aware of the renovation before arriving. Although I had checked in online, the front desk made me fill out paperwork when I asked she became surly and told me that she was just doing her job and fill out the paperwork. She put me on the third floor, which was the floor that was being renovated. See attached picture. You can see that there was no access to anywhere on the floor from the elevator went back down to the lobby. She was very discourteous, actually annoyed with me for asking for another room. She ended up putting me on the fourth floor and throwing desk items around just to let me know how annoyed she was. She announced that I was in the last room available, my assumption is she wanted to make sure I knew that I could not come back down to the front desk to ask for another one. The room was fine, although it smelled strange , like cleaning fluid and dirty clothes. Not an enjoyable experience. I’ll be back to Austin on a monthly basis, but will not be booking with this hotel again.

I don’t know about other room but my room’s card knob are terrible, I have to insert the card repeatedly to finally get green light or no luck Sometime it won’t work for 5 minutes so I gave up and went to front desk for redo the card and mostly it help and finally work in few attempt, it’s annoying

I love the location and the hotel is under renovation so even still they should maintain a level of cleanliness more than they are maintaining. Staff was all wonderful.

This is a great location property and the staff is wonderful but the remodel needs to happen quicker we stayed on the second floor suite and the door was damaged like someone broke in the carport was absolutely disgusting dirty stains that looked like old blood! If it wasn't for the incredible staff I would never come back until the remodel was complete!

Older hotel undergoing some much needed renovation. Some seedy customers in lower wing. Deranged man sprayed entire hall with fire extinguishers claiming snipers were chasing him.

The carpets and elevator in the back are trashed . The back door, which is the main entrance after parking in the back, will not lock and is easily accessed by anyone without a key card. The door has no locking mechanism at all. The shape of the hotel has gone down considerably since the last time I stayed there.

Room for improvement but staff is nice...
First room smelled like animal urine so nadly that we requested to change rooms. And the staff was very accomodatong and quickly moved us. The second room was soooo much better. But it did kind of change how it felt... The elevator was hot and slow... wasnt very nice. The breafast was complimentary but it was so crowded there wasnt anywhere to sit... and the other guests were very pushy and kept stepping in front of my kids and I. Ive stayed at La Quinta hotels before and it wasnt like this. Definitely wont be staying at this particular one again.
