This is not a hotel for women traveling alone. At 8:45p, no lit sign, no lights in the parking lot and no lights at the entrance to the hotel. When I asked, I was told they are on a timer. It's pitch black... when does that timer go on? Walked into the guest room... no lights in the entryway. Light switches... but either they lights were burned out, or they turned on nothing. Bed was comfy but would not stay here again as a woman traveling alone.

The freeway makes it noisy. The AC unit made it more noisy. The room is okay but the halls were filthy carpet

Huge room and comfy king bed and pillows. Huge tub and great water pressure. Plentiful towels and adequate lightning. Cheyenne, by far, was the most professional, caring employee we encountered while staying there 6 nights. Others basically just gave us lip service. Breakfast worker hid flavored creamer in the back room, and we repeatedly had to ask her to bring it out for our coffee. Fitness room had poorly working A/C, if any at all. Neither the TV on the treadmill nor the TV on the wall worked. Our hallway frequently reeked of weed, and the stench came into our room from under the door. Despite "No Smoking" signs posted everywhere, management made no effort to locate its origin. In our room the refrigerator ran so cold that it kept freezing our water bottles, despite our multiple requests for repair/replacement. And the blackout shade on the window in our room was halfway torn off its bottom frame.

Roaches in the rooms. Front desk was nice. They couldn't check me out bc my card was on hold. She read my card and it was the wrong number. I showed her my receipt that was already paid in advanced. She fixed the problem and told me Hotels.com charged me more bc the room was cheaper. I wasn't happy about that.

The hotel was recently remodeled. I stayed here with my dog and really appreciated the new vinyl flooring in the room. I find hotel carpets to be gross and never walk barefoot on them. I don’t know why more hotels don’t use vinyl flooring as an option. The breakfast options were lacking. Unlike most La Quinta hotels, there was not a hot breakfast option. Prepackaged muffins and danishes, coffee and oranges and apples were offered along with to-go coffee.

They've redone the whole building, parking lot and redoing the pool,the rates have even come down. I know where I'll be staying on my next trip to Round Rock. Great job!

Hotel was under construction which was not stated online, the pool wasn't available, the customer service person when we checked in was horrible and more focused on their phone call then taking care of the guest. bed was so old that half was caved in when you sat on it. over all i would consider this a 2 start hotel. Oh and the window in the room has broken and cracked. Not worth the money we spent on it
