Very nice and walkable to everything in Avalon - clean, bright and even a view of the ocean from the sunroom. Beautifully remodeled and very comfortable. Only drawback was noise from the lower unit well past quiet time of 10 pm on two of the nights.

A wonderful, easy access, beautiful location
We had a wonderful thanksgiving holiday! My 91 year grandmother and a few family members enjoyed the holiday on Catalina. The location was easy to find and so close to all that we needed. The staff were wonderful to work with. We all can’t wait to go back again.

Charming home so close to town!
Beautiful updated home with all the amenities. Stayed for three days with family. Loved that it was located so close to town. We were able to walk everywhere, no need for a golf cart. Only issue was getting a hold of the actual host. Had to go through a few steps to get that info, but once we did, it was smooth sailing from there. Will definitely be booking again!

We loved this property. We were travelling with our three adult children and their spouses and it was a great place for all of us. Fantastic location, not too far from the ferry and close to the shops. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable.

Rat Problem
I gave this property a low rating because of the rat problem. There was a lot of moving around above our heads while in the bedrooms. This forced 2 people in our party to sleep in the living room for 2 nights. I called the manager and reported the problem and she did send someone out to take care of the situation. It was obvious to us this is an ongoing problem in this property because there were traps already set in the rafters overhead in the living room. You can imagine how we all felt knowing that! Another negative was the lock on the front door - easy to lock from inside but very difficult to lock when leaving for the day, so we left it unlocked. Also, there should be a covering on the window in the master bathroom and the door in that bathroom that leads to the outside patio does not close/lock. All of that being said, the unit was clean and very conveniently located.

Exceeded all expectation…
It’s rare that a place actually delivers a heck of a lot more than you ever expected, but that was our experience here. Perfectly located downtown, close to restaurants, shopping, golf and the waterfront. Love the layout, accommodated our group perfectly, we will be back again next year.

The property is beautifully decorated and very spacious. The location is ideal for shopping, beaches and restaurants There is grocery store a couple of blocks away for easy access to supplies. The location of the property is ideal but at times the road noise can get a little loud but quiets down in the evening.

Disappointing
The home was very close to the water and Vons. It was decorated well but the two main issues were the wood floors were very dirty (I notified the manager and sent pics of our black feet-no response) and they did not leave the wifi code. It took 3 emails and 2 phone calls to get it a day later and since we were working remotely this was a big problem. Lastly given we were having issues, I was a bit put out the owner texted me and asked for us to bring their watch charger to the front door and they would meet us. I felt our issues were not handled well and that was not the most appropriate request for guests in their home. We got a bad vibe overall and would never stay there again. Try somewhere else...
