We went on November 2024 and it was a great experience.for us. I Loved the shared patio on 6th floor and our room was on the same floor. We really enjoyed the view. Just one thing we wish to have was a refrigerator at our room.

Older Hotel amazing views of the island
Hotel is very old. My sheets had stains on them. I truly feel a little update to the rooms will take this hotel to the next level. Customer service was very good and helpful

I loved the location of this hotel. There’s a grocery store just down the road (3 min walk), restaurants, shopping and beach within 5 minutes. Our room was so nice and was shared with the room next door but we lucked out not having anyone there. Gabby was the front desk clerk and was amazing. She gave me great recommendations and helped me book an extra night stay. Housekeeping was very helpful and did a nice job of cleaning the room. I also loved the jetted bath tub. A few things I’d like the hotel to upgrade are: a small fridge and coffee maker in the room and fix the bathroom sink nozzle so it doesn’t spray everywhere. The shower curtain should also be replaced as well as it does not keep the water in the shower area. There’s even a note posted on the wall about not flooding the floors and to use the extra towels provided. lol I highly recommend!

This Victorian boutique style hotel is simple but very charming. It’s about a 5 minute ride from the Catalina Express Avalon dock and if you book a ride on Ride Circuit, it’s $2 per person. The property is old but the rooms are nicely done. I loved the shared balcony (especially since the room next to us was empty so we had the balcony to ourselves). The view of the town and ocean is amazing. The jetted tub was very nice and I made sure to pick up some bath salts in town and took a relaxing bath before going to bed. The front desk employee (Gabby) was so nice and helpful. We loved it so much we booked another night. 😍 The one thing that would have made it even better is if the windows had screens on them and if the windows could open more than a few inches.

We liked the outdoor patio on the Sixth floor and the hotel and surrounding area was very quiet. The TV remote power switch did not work - had to unplug the power cord to shut the TV off. The phone "O" button for the front desk did not work.
