Great location and loved the steam train
Nice, tidy little property, well situated and a nice walk into town. My first time in Aviemore and I was impressed with all it had to offer Rental was fairly basic, but served us well. Would have been nice to have had some basic welcome pack, teabags, coffee etc, but plenty of shops nearby

Pleasent Stay
This was our first stay at this holiday let in Aviemore. When we walked into the property it was really hot and stuffy and we found it very basic with absolutely no frills at all. Saying that we did find it very comfortable, especially the bed and we had really good nights sleep and a very enjoyable stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Ok for a short break with a dog
The property could do with a bit of TLC both inside and out. Cobwebs on wooden entrance panels and weeds outside. Would benefit from a fence to enclose the back garden (dog friendly). Internal doors scuff on wooden floors and this is ruining them. Would benefit from a few ornaments to make if more homely. The sofa and chairs are quite old and very low. The location was ideal for access to the town centre and nearby walks.

Nice clean place
Was really clean and kept in a good order. Shower a bit tired needs replacing, other than that all well. Located in residential area, so no parties I assume, good reach to the Main Street. Only recommendation would be to bring a dream catcher house is a wee bit haunted in my opinion.

Our Oasis of Calm
Arriving at our Cottage, which was spotlessly clean , we were both delighted to find how very well provided it was. We were accompanied by our miniature Dachshund Bailey Boo, who gave each room & the garden area outside, her own, very particular inspection. Each area , passed Bailey's very high standards. Both bedrooms , were well supplied with plenty of additional cosy blankets.( Even Scottish Summers can be chilly ) The roomy kitchen, with backdoor to gravelled area, had a more than plentiful supply of utensils & cutlery. Also, a variety of pots & pans , glasses, kitchen scissors etc. All well thought out , to aid guests' needs. Also black refuse sacks, a starter bottle of dish washer, dish cloths ,etc. In the ample bathroom , with an overhead shower & bath, there was very fragrant handwash . ( Again, all in a spotless condition. ) The lounge/ Dining area , had comfortable settees, a dining table , a large TV & a front door leading to the porch There was plenty of warmth , fortunately, as the weather was not too kind. Porch at the front, perfect for wet boots, as would be the back entrance, to save trailing dirty feet through the cottage. The whole area, was very peaceful & quiet. An ideal base from which to explore the surrounding areas , or, Aviemore itself. An interesting selection of eating places within Aviemore, or its Environs , across the board, price wise. Plenty of shops , to indulge in Self Catering also.Wonderful views from our windows & garden.

A wee break
Loved the location as have stayed at the Silverglades a few times. Property was listed as dog friendly but garden was not fenced off at side of house. Was very dissapointed with shower as very poor water pressure and unable to control temperature, was either scalding hot or freezing. So had to resort to having baths. This was not ideal for my elderly friend as she can't manage in and out of bath. Beds were comfy. Felt cottage was a bit dated. However we managed and did enjoy our short break. I think next time I would pay more for a better property.

Stay at Aviemore Basic
Basic with no extras. We liked the location and the bath. The shower was useless - it either burned or scalded you. No towels are provided. Some decent kitchen knives would have been useful.

Great stay
A lovely cosy property in a great location near Aviemore centre. The kitchen was well equiped, good storage in the house and there were comfy beds and nice crisp bed linens. Our only critism was no towels (although we knew this after booking). No tea towel either (didn't expect this), and no non slip mat or rail to use with the overbath shower (it was quite slippy). Also no bath mat for the cold bathroom floor. However we had a lovely stay here and we were very comfortable.

Active Family Short Break
The booking process, prior communication and info along with the check-in process was very smooth, simple & problem free. The location was ideal, close enough to walk to the main street or head off into the country for walks. The property itself was good but could benefit from blackout blinds in the bedrooms as it was daylight till late at night & before 5am so had difficulty getting our children to sleep and to remain asleep till a reasonable time. We spent most of our time outside doing water activities and whilst there was a whirly gig we were eventually able to use after detangling and restringing an outside tap & hose would be great for rinsing our boat, wetsuits, dog etc.. The garden to the rear is very basic and stone covered not ideal for children to play out in or fornthe dog it served its purpose but a gate/fence to the side would've made the difference as we could've let our children & dog out the back with out having to remain out with them. Thank-you for the use, it was a good basic base and let us have a short break away.

Perfect spot close to everything
This is a lovely wee granny flat within walking distance of everything in Aviemore. Lots of gentle walks nearby with Speyside footpaths just a quarter mile away. The Speyside steam train goes past the bottom of the yard too which is a plus. Warm and comfortable. Basic but adequately equipped. Be aware the owner does not supply towels nor toiletries (including toliet rolls) so bring your own). Having NOW TV (including Sky Sports) and Netflix available in the house is a bonus too if you have your own subscription to sign into.

3 night stay between Christmas and New Year 2022
What a little gem this property turned out to be, it is situated just 15mins walk out of Avimore and in a quite cul-de-sac. The bungalow was clean and well appointed with everything you could need. The bungalow was very cosy and warm with a nice kitchen and bathroom, we were skiing for a couple of days so the location was perfect. I would have no reservations in hiring this property again or recommending this to a couple or small family.

Shower
Only think I could grumble about is the shower, pressure isn't great at all and the shower head is quite loose, rest of the bungalow was basic but ideal for us especially at the price we paid, would stay again
