Loved the location - near great restaurants, shops. The staff are above and beyond helpful in providing information on transportation, local things to see, etc. They also speak great English. The rooms were larger than usual for European hotels. Elevator is small but adequate. Clean rooms with hardwood floor. Such a wonderful city to visit!

Excellent rooms, centrally located in Avignon's old city. Also, walking distance from the rail line and day-tour pickup. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate, but nothing special, and parking, while challenging, is nearby. My only issue is that this is in a BUSY location with lots of pedestrian traffic and you will hear a fair bit of street noise. If we were there at a busier time, it would've probably annoyed me.

The hotel exceeded expectations with service, hospitality, comfort, and style. The location was convenient in the city centre and near the train station. The dark curtains were great for our jet lag. Overall a wonderful experience.

The staff was helpful and cordial. The room was clean. The room layout was strange. The toilet room had no sink! You have to exit the toilet room, walk through the sleeping area to the shower/sink room! (Put a small basin in the toilet room!) The area of Rue de La République near the hotel was not as clean as other areas of Avignon. There were often people hanging out. More than one shouting match happened along the road while we were there.

Very nice hotel. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Good air-conditioning. The location is excellent. Our only nitpick would be about the in room coffee. All you get is a packet of instant Nescafe. A coffee maker or a nicer coffee pod would be appreciated for a hotel of this caliber.

Right on main drag - hot spot during festival!
Smack dab in the middle of the main drag in Avignon - easy to get around, but if you're not into crowds (and some noise), maybe look elsewhere. A tad hard to find the front door to this place since GPS sends you one way and the door is on a side street. Rooms were fine, and we landed in Avignon on day one of a theater / cinema festival, so it was a lively time. Easy walk here from the train station - 5 minute straight shot.
