Lovely hotel, very well situated.
Lovely hotel with lots of character. Good breakfast in a nice environment. Convenient for shops, restaurants and sight seeing. We stayed one night and although we had a superior room it had no air conditioning. It was very hot and we couldn’t open the patio doors due to the outside noise.

Worth the effort
Getting to the hotel was impossibly difficult as so many streets are no turn or one way. The hotel name is not on street side where you approach it. After an hour and 4 attempts, the desk clerk literally came to meet me and drove with me to the hotel. All that said, the hotel is beautiful and the staff very accommodating, offering free coffee and assisting in restaurant reservations. The hotel offers garage parking for a fee. My room was very spacious and comfortable. There is a cozy bar in the hotel and a larger room with music.

Charming hotel with a great breakfast
This hotel has lots of character and was an excellent value. The breakfast buffet was unbelievable great for the rate of my stay. Sound does travel through this old building but it's very quiet once the guests go to sleep.

Great Avila Stay
It was a very nice place to stay. Was very cozy. And being in such an old historic building it did not feel like you were in such an old building. It was great to be inside the walls and has an excellent restaurant right beside. The staff were also very friendly. Loved it and would recommend to anyone. Our room was huge. Actually 2 rooms in one, one master bedroom and the other room with 3 single beds.

It has been one of the best accomodations I've had in Spain. It's unique, the staff very helpful and nice, beautifull rooms, excellent cleaning services. A 10+ I will give to this hotel but it will be better if in future they will install some air conditioners. In summer is hot even if they provide some a fan.

Unique property within the walls of Avila!
Quite an experience to stay in a 200/300 year old property. Very nicely furnished, excellent personnel, delicious breakfast, located right within the walls of the old city. Only drawback was the lack of air conditioning (which is understandable given the age of the property). Unfortunately there was a heat wave when we were there.

The property was a 16th century palace and a very unique experience. I paid 5 euros extra for the premium room which was spacious....bathroom nicely tiled and large..big fluffy towels...staff very friendly and helpful...nice breakfast in very pleasant breakfast room. I recommend this hotel. It was a high point in our trip through Spain.

Fantastic lobby!
Absolutely amazing hotel! Huge family room for our family of 6 with privacy and comfort. Breakfast was extensive and delicious. We were there on a Friday and were able to enjoy the towns market. We walked everywhere we needed to. And the staff was super kind, helpful and great with kids. Would love to stay here again!
