Renovated barn, great for countryside walks, and bike rides

The Petite Maison de Mouton barn has a very calm and chilled atmosphere, the sky at night is always clear for you to see the stars . It is a detached property just for you which has its own private garden with fruit trees, garden table and 4 chairs, large barbeque and a hot tub for the Summer months. You can walk to the village bar for a drink which also does food at the weekend and pick up your bread or croissants for breakfast from a bread machine outside the Marie. Its also a car drive away from La Dorat just 15 minutes, which is a pretty little town with cafes, restaurants, banks, and a small Supermarket. La Dorat also has a train station where you could hop on a train to Paris .The Medieval town of Montmorillon is a 25 minutes drive away and is very pretty to walk around and like La Dorat has supermarkets, banks, a cinema, restaurants and also a swimming pool. You can also use this as a base and go further a field to Limoges, about an hour drive or Poitiers which is an hour 15 minutes drive but well worth a walk around as it has lovely buildings, cathedrals and lots to do. There is so much to do in the area of Haute Vienne you will find it hard to choose.

A wonderful short stay at Petite Maison de Mouton
We have just returned from a 2nt stay in this beautifully restored property in a quiet village location. Super welcome from the host on arrival and lovely welcome pack-a nice touch and welcome surprise! Excellent communication with Lesley before and throughout our stay. Very secure property for our 3yr old dog with large secure garden to side of property for off-street parking and occupant use only. Would also recommend a meal/drinks at Chez Julie in the village, just a short walk from the property and also dog-friendly. Would highly recommend this property to others.
