Lifjell is a snow-sure place in winter, and cross-country ski trails start right outside the cabin. Or, take a few days to explore the region's family-friendly ski area if you want to try your hand on the slopes during your vacation. The alpine resort has a fun park with trampoline and activities for the whole family.

During the rest of the year, the area offers a golf course, tennis court, opportunities for hiking, biking and swimming. There are several mountain peaks with an altitude of about 1,000 meters that you can climb during your vacation. In autumn you can find many mushrooms and berries along the way. From Lifjell it is also not far to the center of Bø and Bø Sommerland with swimming fun for the whole family. Nearby is also Høyt and Lavt Park, where you can train on climbing trails in the trees. Last but not least, a trip along the Telemark Canal is recommended, which runs from Skien to Dalen in Telemark.
