Great Hotel
This is a great hotel. I have been coming to this hotel for many years. It is in the process of a renovation. Fantastic location and everything is accessible by foot. 15 minutes to the Bahnhof. Breakfast is one of the best I have had. I will always stay here when I visit Bad Reichenhall. The staff is courteous and friendly.

Great Hotel
Really great hotel. Breakfast was excellent and the hotel is set in a large park area. Accessible to walk just about every where. The hotel staff are very accommodating. It is having a renovation.

We was not allowed to stat because our 13 year Old son didnt have corona test and the did not tell us and tell us where to go to get test so we left to another hotel. Simple bad service and we have payed for the room

Well treated in an elegant old hotel.
Hotel staff was wonderful. Very accommodating to our needs and was kind enough to upgrade our room for our special occasion. The hotel is a bit outdated inside but well maintained and good amenities. Breakfast was decent, above average. The location is fantastic.

The hotel needs to be remodeled. The rooms and the entire place smells like cigarettes. The rooms do not have air conditioning. The queen beds are 2 single beds put together and breakfast was not the greatest.

A grand old lady
This hotel was a wonderful surprise. It is a grand old lady loaded with history. The rooms are enormous, beds comfortable, the facilities excellent, and the includes buffet breakfast exceeded our expectations. The town of Bad Reichenhall was equally excellent, and also exceeded our expectations. The scenery is beautiful and we had a wonderful experience with the local sites, restaurants and activities (Krampus!!). The hotel is indeed getting older, and the fixtures, etc are not modern, but this should not dissuade you from staying here. The old fashioned attention to personal service and the feeling of being is such a historic place certainly makes up for the aging structure.

Poor interest of reception towards visitors. Upon arrival reception did not give info for wifi log on. It took to return to reception next day and ask. Rooms cold, mold in the bathroom. No extra bed sheets. Bed was small and uncomfortable. Poor service in the buffet,, one waitress ignored the visitor, had to ask few days in the row for a coffee thermos. Thanks for one man Mr. Hatem El-Hawaii who helped through my stay with internet services and all other info. Mr. Hatem spoke good English was very polite and showed an interest towards his client.

Great location, elegant historic hotel
The location of this hotel is wonderful - right on the end of the Pedestrian walk with the many shops and restaurants and close to the massive park and classy casino. The staff were wonderful, professional and accommodating to our group of 20 guests. Note: Since this hotel is on pedestrian only walkway, if you bring a bus, the bus has to drive on this walkway to let passengers off and on. This seems to be acceptable and expected in the town. The hotel is very elegant. As with other reviews, there are some areas that could use updating, but it was still a very comfortable stay. The rooms with balconies have a large balcony with beautiful views. We would definitely stay here again.
