Room was good but no sound proofing on the door and we were at top of the stairs and could hear noise and conversations from everyone in the lobby. Staff were talking after 11pm which was annoying and let them know in the morning. Did not eat at the restaurant as only for dinner. Would be nice if they offered breakfast since the restaurant is there.

Nice place but Room #3 can hear alot of noise.
Stayed 2 nights in Room #3 and bed was very comfortable but room is very small. First night every guest walking down the stairs and loud talking from check out below the room downstairs woke me up but second night wore ear plugs and slept well. Excellent location and right in the center of town but would stay in a different room then Room #3. Cable Room restaurant was excellent.

This quaint little motel is exactly what we hoped for. It’s small, clean and quiet. It’s not fancy or new but has character. The main dining room looked beautiful but we didn’t eat there. the gentleman at the front desk was very pleasant and informative.

Had a lovely stay at the Telegraph House. Staff were wonderful and the dining was amazing! The Cable Room is a must for dinner. Delicious food and the friendliest hostess/wait staff! However, the rooms are in need of renovating.

This is a lovely location, easy access to most everything downtown. Loved the history of this hotel. We had a room in the motel. If booking and you have mobility issues, there are stairs to navigate in the main hotel.

It was a nice stay for one night. Room was clean and had good beds. It was in close walking distance to restaurants down by the harbour. Enjoyable start to the Cabot Trail.

Old house charm was nice. Room was quiet. However bathroom was lacking amenities such as counter space(or equivalent shelf space for toiletry bags), not enough wall hooks. Beds were a bit soft but manageable.
