"If you’re looking for a place with service and a place to be on your phone, this is not it. But if you’re looking for a place to recharge and appreciate your surroundings, this cabin is a dream. I was nervous to go in the winter because I wasn’t sure we’d be able to do much, but then I realized when we got there that we didn’t need to do much. The property manager was kind, and the binder she has on the dining table with things to do really was a life saver out there with no service to look up things to do or where to eat. I also really loved the journal that visitors can write in to describe their visit. The tv with the DVD player being the only way to watch tv made my fiancé and I feel a little nostalgic, and we loved that. All in all, I really loved the cabin, and I will be back in a different season!"

"The Morris lake house was exactly what we needed for our trip. Perfect location of the main roads and on the lake. Ver impressed with all of the accommodations. Always a relief when you forgot all the kitchen things like a bag or parchment paper. The house was clean and comfortable with plenty of room. One of the best VRBO houses we have stayed at. "Our 3rd stay at Seaside Sanctuary and this time we stayed 2 weeks. Stacey is always super-communicative and the house has everything you could possibly need. We were able to get in some nice day trips down to the Schoodic Peninsula of Acadia National Park, Milbridge, Calais, Eastport, Reversing Falls, Machias & Jasper Beach. We caught a sunrise at West Quoddy Head Lighthouse and explored Cobscook Shores and points around Lubec and the Bold Coast. We spent about 1/2 the time there just "being" at the house- soaking in the views, getting out on our kayaks and taking in the ever-changing tides, wildlife & scenery. And the QUIET; maybe the quietest place we have ever been. We were also treated to 2 nights of the Aurora Borealis, which were absolutely stunning! This is a very special & magical place and we will be back, hopefully sooner than later."
