Property was adequate for price but check-in process was not acceptable. They stated their reception hours are 9:30am- 7:30pm and when we showed up at 2pm, we had no way of getting inside the building to get to reception. We buzzed them at the reception button twice and no reply. I sent them a message on expedia. In the meantime, another person staying there let us in as they were coming in. We made our way up to reception which was closed. My husband called them and they told us would be there in approximately 25 mins, so we were forced to wait in a small corridor outside the reception office, with no way to even leave our bags there. I was not given any proper communication about what to expect, nor advance codes in order to at least buzz into the building. I was very frustrated by this considering we had traveled for 7 hours that morning. Despite that, reception was polite when they finally arrived and were able to get us in within a few minutes. Room was lovely and updated. Bathroom was in good condition but shower door leaked horribly and got water all over the floor. The description of the hotel listed a free bottle of wine as an amenity which was never provided. Not a big deal, but something to note. All in all, a good area and nice accommodations, but the check in process should be streamlined and more reliable.
