Good choice, but a bit overpriced
We have no complaints about our room or service provided, however the description of “luxury” hotel is misleading. It’s comfortable, but luxurious it is not, in my view. So I also think that the price is probably a bit high for what’s actually offered. Other than that, we had everything we needed and the location is good, with easy access to the lake and centre of town. We would happily stay there again.

A great place to stay. The room was very clean, quiet and spacious . A short 4 min drive to the restaurants in the city centre and a 5 min walk to Lake Wendouree. We would definitely choose here to stay again, when in Ballarat

The room was spacious and comfortable. We were in Ballarat for a medical appointment so didn’t get to see very much. We will return one day for a true holiday.

We only booked for one night, a stopover on the way to Melbourne. The room was very large and comfortable, as was the bathroom. We ate at the pub that is part of the motel and the meal was very nice. The next morning we wandered down to the yacht club, which is just a few minutes away, for an excellent breakfast.
