Nice rooms and pool but language barrier
The rooms were very clean and comfortable. This is the first hotel however where someone at the front desk did not speak English. There was someone else who did speak English but for some reason the non English speaker always helped us. We had to go back to the desk to ask where the gym and pool were and what time breakfast was which are usually explained at check in. We went back to ask about getting a tour or driver to see kawah putih. She told us they did not have this. We went next door to the other hotel and they happily helped us. Turns out this is the sister hotel, same owner and they booked us the ride with the same poster hanging in the lobby at our hotel, which we were told were only for the airport. It was sad that the other hotel was more helpful, they even had access to our room information so clearly our own hotel could have helped but maybe the language barrier prevented us getting helped. No big deal if someone doesnt speak English but we wished she asked an English speaker to help us
