Great spot for Banff. We had the one bedroom suite, the upgrade wasn’t worth it. The placement of the televisions in the bedroom isn’t practical. It’s near the ceiling and uncomfortable to watch tv. Otherwise, everything else about this place is great.

The Peaks Hotel is a solid choice if you’re looking to stay in the heart of downtown Banff, surrounded by a vibrant mix of restaurants, shops, and attractions. It offers a reasonably priced option for the area, with some thoughtful touches like Toto bathroom fixtures that feel like a luxury bonus at this price point. If you’re traveling with a pet, be prepared for a steep pet fee of $175. On the plus side, parking is available in a convenient underground lot for $18 per day, complete with a self-serve car wash—a handy feature given how muddy your car can get on the drive into Banff.

Amazing hotel for our first time visiting Banff. We easily walked to every dinner reservation and local bars. Also, great central location to ski the mountains. Overall, the hotel was classy, clean and convenient.

Location was great as it wasn’t too far off of the Main Street in Banff. Hotel was clean and rooms offered microwave, toaster, fridge, dishes, utensils. Shower was great with many jet heights but water didn’t drain so you’re quickly standing in water gathered at the bottom. We did not get notification that our room was ready until 15 min after check in. We got the key to our room and was not able to access it with the key we received so we went back to the desk and was given the incorrect room number. They gave a bottle of wine for inconvenience. Our room faced the street and it was loud. There is no dining options in this hotel, they offer a VERY limited selection on tea(only stock a couple of tea bags at a time but have a lot of stock not put out so ask), coffee and hot chocolate. Paid parking underground where the have a hose to wash your car and have many beds stored down there.
