Needs a deep clean
The house was as pictured but it had not had a deep clean in a while, sinks didn’t drain, bathtubs didn’t drain so much that I bought draino to fix it. All decor had a thick layer of dust. Floors dirty. Lightbulbs out. Kitchen was described as well stocked; there was not even the most basic tools, no measuring cups, no trash bags, no extra cleaning supplies and believe me, we needed it. We were not prepared for the conditions of the roads to the house post hurricane and roads were rough to get my Camry down.
House was not ready at 4 pm and the company said they emailed me and offered late checkout, no email or text was received. I did receive a message offering me to pay for late checkout but it was not complimentary. When I called and explained we needed to be in to get ready for an event, the person I spoke to was very rude and basically said too bad. She said she would ask if we could get money back bc I asked for it and then never called me back to report yes or no. The cleaners were there but it was def not clean. I don’t believe this was bc we were in a hurry bc the amount of dirty areas were clearly from weeks of not being cleaned. The hot tub was nice but the headrests were not attached and 2 came off and the cover smelled so bad of mildew that the experience was not enjoyable. I think the toilet on the second floor was leaking bc the bathroom smelled of urine, I cleaned the floor well and it helped.
Just overall a poor experience.
