"My daughter and I stayed here in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene after being trapped in Banner Elk. Despite having no electricity, water, cell service, phone or internet the management, staff and everyone else there all came together as a community and worked together to do everything possible for each other and everyone there and to keep everyone's spirits high Despite all the tragedy and destruction. We will forever remember the smiling faces, kindness and support offered by the wonderful people here. May God bless you and yours. "

"We had a fantastic stay at this spacious house, perfect for our large family group! It was very clean and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The pool table, jacuzzi, and foosball added a lot of fun to our time together. We gave the newlyweds the king suite with the amazing bathroom and I was jealous! The wraparound porch was fantastic and I love the back yard view. I noted some sleds and an amazing sledding hill, so we’d love to return for a winter trip! Vacasa was a pleasure to work with, quickly addressing a few minor issues (our pet sitting accidentally locked us out and we had a power outage in the area and they quickly came out to make sure it wasn’t a house issue and looked into the eta on restoration). Highly recommend for a large group looking for a great place to stay! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!"

"We had an amazing time at this rental for a long weekend. The cabin is clean and has everything you’d need for convenience for a short stay. Back porch is such a little haven with the hot tub and the wildlife out in the woods. Felt secluded while still being very close to stores and restaurants. Also a very short drive over to Grandfather Mountain where we enjoyed a little hiking. The owner was incredibly nice and responsive and made sure to make our stay enjoyable. I can’t recommend this property enough!"
