Posada El Majuelo is a rural accommodation located in Baños de la Encina, in the heart of sierra morena, a town declared a historic and artistic area in 1969, it has a municipal district between two natural parks (Sierra de Andújar and Despeñaperros).

It is located just 6 km from the highway of Andalucía Madrid Cádiz (kilometer point 288).

Accommodation located in the old town, very close to the Town Hall Square, millenary Bury Alhamma Castle and San Mateo Church.

Restored in 2008, it preserves part of the elements of the farmhouse (main door, sleepers, well with protection, water trough ...

It consists of two floors:
- The ground floor has a living room with fireplace, decorated with old chefs; a fully equipped kitchen, equipped with a window "passes dishes" to the living room. From the kitchen we can access a laundry room with washing machine included and a patio with river Chinese soil typical of the time, on which rest an old trough and a well with protection; in a corner, the barbecue with table and garden chairs. On this floor there is also a toilet with light to the patio.

-Access to the upper floor by means of a traditional mud staircase. We are located in a small hallway from which three bedrooms with heating and air conditioning leave. One with sloping ceilings with a wooden roof equipped with two 90 x 1.90 cm beds (latex), and patio lighting; a second bedroom with a bed of 90 x 1.90cm (latex) with light to the street and the third with a double bed and light to the street. This floor also has a toilet with shower.

- The furniture and other objects of adornment furnished and decorated with great care and affection, providing a mixture of furniture and antique objects.

Posada El Majuelo met our needs perfectly. Baños de la Encina with its ancient castle is a lovely community and the mines of Linares (the purpose of our stay) were just a short drive away across a sea of olive trees. Thoroughly recommended.
