This place was just what we needed for our trip to the area. Convenient location and a beautiful view. The bathroom, however, was a little cramped. Overall, our stay here was good!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The property has great views and a nice area to sit and soak them in. It's a little dated but overall a nice place to stay.
We had a very short 1-night stay for a quick trip to Acadia National Park. The hotel was a good location for entrance to Acadia. Front desk staff was not friendly or helpful. The room was very basic which was just what we needed but small if you have large luggage. We found spiders and spider webs in the lamp shade. The included breakfast was very minimal-a few muffins, oranges and a few packets of cereal-items including the juice were out but they did not seem interested in refilling. This hotel also has an earlier than normal check out time of 10 am. Also for a note there is no EV charging stations at this hotel.
Check in was quick and easy. We had a 2nd floor King Ocean view room. Spacious and very nicely decorated. Large balcony and beautiful view. No elevator, not a problem for us, but maybe for others. Comfortable bed and nice linens. We would definitely stay here again.
I chose this hotel because of its low cost. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of service and hotel cleanliness. They also have a restaurant and bar onsite. We had lunch there with a bunch of locals. Had a great time.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Room was great and our stay was pleasant. The front desk staff however wasn't very helpful. And the morning that we were leaving, I fell over a wooden block that was at the door holding the door open for someone else, getting a huge cut on my shin. The person working at the front desk never asked if I was OK or if I needed anything. This wouldn't stop me from staying there again or recommending the hotel to someone else. But customer service goes a long way.
We were given a suite which was awesome. The only problem we had with this facility was the location. You have to drive into Bar Harbor and parking is at a premium. We tried to get a cab but they were mostly taking people to the airport.
