Close to downtown, quick walk to everywhere. Friendly staff, I decided to stay an extra day, they booked me, same room, and same price, which was $75 less than what they were asking.

We weren’t sure what to expect staying at a motel but this was such a great place to stay! The place was well maintained and located just a few minutes from Bar Harbor downtown. There was a good amount of people walking around the area even after dark, which made us feel safe. The staff at the office was super nice and welcoming. Room was clean and the landscape paintings of Acadia was a nice touch. Very convenient for our visit to Acadia National Park.

This property does not resemble the pictures posted. Very outdated rooms with wall paneling buckling, no fan in bathroom, no blow dryer, AC that barely worked, wifi that wasnt even enough to feed the room tv. The staff were very friendly.

Excellent property. Fully enjoyed our stay. Property was very clean, up to date, staff was very friendly and helpful. Shout outs to Danette and Susie for their excellent service. Loved the location being walkable to downtown but also just out of it and do away from the crowds.

This was a basic motel, but the beds were very, very comfortable and the room was clean. There were no screens on two of the windows and they could have done well with a couple of softer pillows, but otherwise it was a comfortable stay. Great location to be able to walk to the main part of town.

Very convenient within 5 min walk of all restaurants and stores. Staff very friendly and accommodating. We mistakenly only booked for one night when we needed two. They were very helpful and found us another room since ours was booked for the second night. Place was very clean -spotless. Would def stay here again.

Great place to stay! Extremely close 5 min walk to the town and easy parking. Staff was kind and check in/out very quick and easy. Room was clean and perfect for what we needed. Not brand new and little dated for sure but can tell they tried to make it as nice as possible which is appreciated. Was what we expected for a motel and would recommend!

The Anchorage is in a perfect location with an easy walk to town. The staff is very welcoming and helpful to offer suggestions for restaurants and things to do around the island. Not a lot of amenities but good showers, hot water and comfortable beds. Coffee in the office is great.

Clean quiet modern motel with easy parking. Walking distance to town and side streets. Friendly and hardworking staff. Great coffee every morning. Nice little lawn with Adirondack chairs to collapse into after a day of hiking or kayaking. We will be back next year! Thank you for a great stay!

Clean and comfortable motel that's showing its age somewhat, but a good value for the location (10-minute drive to Acadia, walk to everything in Bar Harbor). I liked the hot coffee and the water bottle filling station in the office, and the outdoor grassy area with seating was a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing. It was great to leave the car and explore the area on foot.
