Loved the retro decor and atmosphere. Parking right outside of room was very convenient. Room was nice and quiet. If I had stayed here earlier in the week I could have definitely used the complimentary head hiking head lamps and binoculars. I will definitely consider staying here again. My only suggestion is to add another microwave in breakfast area since nearly all hot items need to be heated per person.

They had an amazing breakfast. Coffee was available in the lobby until 10:00 pm. Loved the camp fire that was ready every evening, complete with S’mores. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds.

This is a beautiful motel. We especially loved the ability to walk into the woods directly from the hotel and the shuttle bus into town. The breakfast is truly fabulous.

The Bar Harbor motel was such a great spot to stay, and it was cheaper than some other places in town. The free shuttle stops right outside the hotel so you can easily get to downtown. Its a little outside of Bar Harbor so its not as accessible to stuff, but it was perfect for what we needed. The shuttle only runs until 9 pm, so plan accordingly!

I booked a family suite and I suppose I haven't been in a motel in a long time. I found the rooms, especially the bathroom, to be quite cramped. at almost 300 a night after tax, it definitely is the most expensive motel I've ever been in. however, that's what you can expect here at bar harbor.. I think for a decent hotel expect to pay around 500 a night. on the bright side.. I found the rooms to be clean. the facility itself does have a small playground for the children. it's quite dark at night however, with little lighting. there isn't much to do here after the sun sets.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast far exceeded our expectations. The retro decor was very cute and gives the hotel a great vibe. Having the shuttle into downtown right in front of the hotel is super convenient. Only downside is that all the hotels in Bar Harbor are so expensive but this is one of the best values.
