Description of the apartment -
· This quiet and comfortable 2 bedroom apartment is on the 5th floor of an 100-year-old modernist building. The floors are still the original colorful mosaic (a different design in every room), and the ceilings are 9 feet high. There is an elevator, air conditioning, central heating, and a full kitchen with granite countertops, dishwasher, pots & pans, dishes, etc.

The building has a roof terrace, with tables and chairs, plenty of sunshine, and views to Sagrada Familia. Please note it is a shared terrace.

Equipment - SAFE in the master bedroom.
Private LAUNDRY ROOM inside the apartment with a washing machine and a dryer.
A/C and heating.
We supply LINENS and TOWELS, and a starter supply of soap and SHAMPOO and other essentials.

For maximum comfort this apartment has central air-conditioning, with vents in all of the bedrooms, and in the living and dining room.

Location - The apartment is in the historical part of the Eixample area, at short distance and midway from the Sagrada Familia temple and Passeig de Gracia shopping.

Transportation - Near Verdaguer metro station (on yellow and blue lines) and several bus lines. Very easy to get to by taxi. A taxi lane runs in front of the apartment.

Noise levels - Façade windows have double glazing, but there can be some street (traffic) noise in the living area. The bedrooms have no traffic noise.

Occupancy - The apartment is ideally suited for 4 people. It can sleep up to 4.

Check-in and check-out - The apartment will be ready for you at 16:00 for occupancy. Check-out time is 11:00am.
Reserved early check-in or late check-out for half the nightly rate, subject to availability.
There is no extra fee for nighttime check-in.
FREE LUGGAGE STORAGE SERVICE in our office when you arrive before check in or depart after check out time. We have our office in the building next door.

Barcelona apt

The apt was well located and clean. Short walk to Sagrada Familia and other Gaudi sites. Several shops and grocery stores and restaurants nearby. The twin bedroom was small and one bed was not comfortable but the other bedroom was fine. We had a hot water issue and we contacted the owner. It was fixed literally within minutes. Much appreciatrd!

Lovely apartment in a great location

As a family of 4 we stayed here for several days. Communication was excellent via the VRBO app, listing was accurate. As other reviewers have mentioned- this is an older historic building. While there is an elevator it is small (1-2 people and small luggage) and accessed via half flight of stairs. The toilet room is small. Overall charming stay with everything we needed. Very near several food options, walking distance to many sites. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent location

The apartment was immaculately clean and very well situated with an easy walk to most tourist destinations and lots of great restaurants nearby.The condition of the flat was a bit run down compared to the pictures, but it had everything we needed and the location could not be beat.A queen size bed would be a nice addition; the sleeping arrangement was tight for a family of four.Overall a very pleasant stay, and the communication with the host was excellent.Thank you!

Comfortable stay

Excellent location for sites and public transportation to everywhere. Wonderful 100 year old apartment was very comfortable. We especially loved the sunny dining area every morning for breakfast. We would want to stay here again on a future trip to Barcelona.

The location was great - wish we had more time to spend at some of the restaurants down the street. Adjacent to quite a few different transit options to get around, but we mostly walked. Internet was a bit spotty, but didn't really affect our stay as we weren't there much. The eating area had great windows and natural light. There were some noise restrictions and restrictions on the rooftop deck which were reasonable. The view from the rooftop is amazing, can see the Sagrada Familia.

Great time in Barcelona

Very quaint and perfectly located property within walking distance from the old city and the Gracias neighborhood. Check in was a breeze and communication with the hosts was easy. Only issue was the clothes washer leaked, but no big deal. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful apartment

Communication was good before stay and while we stayed. The apartment is beautiful, especially the tiles. Very traditional. Great area to eat inside terrace and the shared terrace is great too. Great to have air conditioning too. Only issue was the noise from other apartments.

Family Trip

First and foremost I am very honest when submitting reviews and my review reflects the “stars”. When we arrived we were told that the property was not ready due to a water leak in the apartment. This is understandable but as paying customers with a Family of four and a detailed itinerary that required us to be on time for certain reservations; it is unacceptable. We were contacted shortly before we arrived and was moved to an adjacent apartment (Enchantment Apartment) where the A/C was not properly working and was extremely hot and told that we had to move in two days. We were at the mercy of the host and had to make arrangements around their time and not ours. We missed our reservations to the Sagrada Familia church and was on their schedule to move out. Finally we move my entire Family to the original apartment and the host did not assist in helping us move as they said they would. Upon arrival the plumber and cleaning crew was still preparing the apartment for our arrival. We could not use the shower for 6 hours and this was one of the hottest days on record in Barcelona. Once again not acceptable and we had know communication from the host as they had a person that was assisting them in this catastrophe. I have contacted VRBO. Additionally I have tried calling and messaging the host explains $150 refund was not enough to compensate us. We deserve at least two days of refund for our inconvenience. I do not recommend this host because they are no where close to contact.

Perfect location

Would save this for my next trip to Barcelona. Already recommending to friends planning to go to BCN. We ended up staying at another property they owned, as the original place we reserved needed emergent maintenance. The other property was only 2 buildings down, and I would say it was luke being upgraded. Thank you to the hosts ! Couldn't ask for anything more. Neighborhood market, mercat la concepcio, is only 2 blocks away. And there are many convenience stores nearby. Historic St. Francesc de Sales church is only a few steps away. Definitely would book again !

Good location

Was disappointed there was only a washing machine, no dryer. Check-in was a little complicated due to the office & the facility being in two different locations. Would have been nice to receive the check-in information earlier as we were on a transatlantic cruise for 12 days prior to reaching Barcelona & did not have access to our email. Appreciated being able to store our luggage in the office while waiting for the rooms to be ready. The toilet room was very same, commode & very small sink. This was separate from the shower room which also had a sink. Very nice place to eat brunch just across the street. Enjoyed walking the neighborhood & to many of the attractions. Location was ideal.

Great location/Adorable traditional ambiance!

This apartment was exactly what my friend and I were looking for on our first time visit to Barcelona! It was exactly as the pictures portrayed(with a few “minor” upgrades). We did have a situation of water leaking down in to the apartment below but that was quickly resolved by Lilianna the “greeter”. The washer was a little bit of a challenge(we didn’t know what the icons meant) but overall, this place is a traditional, cozy, safe place to stay! Most of our exploring was within walking distance and whatever else we wanted to venture and see was accessible by the metro station which was only a short walk. We did experience the breakfast spot on the corner called “Billy Brunch”. It was delicious just as the other reviewers had stated! I personally would stay here again and would highly recommend this place to others! Thank you for a great experience!

Excellent location

Flat in great location. Only 5 mins brisk walk from Familia Sagrada and you can walk to the port/ beach within 30 mins. Park Gruell 30 mins walk but up slight incline. Supermarkets and restaurants all in close proximity. The flat has everything we needed but it did look tired with one wash hand basin not working and an old shower. Just needs more tender care/ updating but this did not detract from an enjoyable stay.
