The property and rooms are older, but the continental breakfast was good and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The advertised photo is a closeup to not show the surroundings. The price was very reasonable.

Good overnighter

Quiet, comfortable and in an excellent location. 24 hour manned desk. Breakfast was quite good - and included in the overnight rate. No tea or coffee making facilities as you get in the UK but it did provide toothbrushes, toothpaste and hair gel as well as the usual soap/shampoo! Overall, I’d be happy to stay again.

Hard to rate as we didn’t actually stay. We arrived super early, had him hold our luggage before check in time. Paid the city tax and then decided to get an earlier flight home. No refund but wasn’t really expecting one. Guy seemed slightly miffed to be helping us but maybe that’s normal for Spain. Cute clean entry - gorgeous ceiling. Good location but in the morning light the street seems a little on the dirty side. Gets better once all the shops open up - busy and bustling with easy access to local sights and lots of places to eat.

I loved my stay at this property. While I’m not trying to hype it up too much, it had more, better quality, and free amenities than the 4 star hotel I stayed at just after in Valencia. The staff are some lovely people. Location is in a great spot in the gothic district. However, through no fault of the hotel, the gothic district is very noisy at night with all the night life, and large portions of the area do have a smell not unlike NYC. I do honestly think I would stay at this place again if I end up back in Barcelona. There’s a lot do to close by and some great restaurants too. Would recommend taking one of those hop on hop off tour buses just as transport to some further attractions since there is a stop about 7 minutes away from the hotel.

A simple, clean and well located hotel

Great location, very basic but extremely clean hotel. Staff was incredibly helpful, kind and friendly. Perfect hotel if you want to explore the city by foot as it’s right in the middle of most attractions. On the other hand it does get noisy at night, particularly from the hostel next to it, but if you don’t mind a bit of noise this should be the perfect match for you.
