I can confidently say is the worst place I've ever stayed, I’m 5’3 and could barely move around the room, my carry on suitcase couldn’t fit open on the floor. The room was dirty, with visible stains on the walls. The furniture was falling apart , and the bed had seen better days. the room was also incredibly noisy. I could hear every sound from the hallway and neighboring rooms, which made it nearly impossible to get any rest. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. It was a truly unpleasant experience and I will never stay there again. Plus if you make a reservation to pay at the property forget about they will charge you card ask as soon as they get a chance. I made a reservation for two nights and left in the morning couldn’t stay for another night and of course didn’t get a refund.

It is right next to the subway so it is very accesible. They have 24hr reception which was also great The staff was great as well. The bad parts: the room was stuffy and had a humid smell to it, the ac didn’t work and my little brother got trapped in the bathroom. The door doesn’t have a lock so we think it had something to do with the door not being properly installed. If you are looking for something a little more budget friendly but in a great, accessible location this place isn’t the worst but if you have more flexibility on budget I wouldn’t stay here

Our family needed a one night stay in Barcelona and the Palermo exceeded our expectations. Staff was gracious, kind, and professional. The accommodations met our needs, provided comfort and security. The facilities were clean and as advertised thank you for your hospitality.

Awfull Staff, Doesn't want to help at all as soon as the trip is ended. Impossible to receive an Invoice from them. I sent them 2 e-mails and they do NOT answer. When you call them to phone, they do NOT want to check their Spam to find the e-mail. They do NOT want to listen to any solution you can Propose, they just hang up the phone. Checking Spam : Refused Spelling E-mail Address : refused Sending e-mail address by Expedia so that they can send you the Invoice : Refused. AVOID THIS HOTEL AND ITs POOR STAFF

Hostal Palermo was very well located right in the middle of Las Ramblas. Easy to find and staff friendly. I stayed in a single room which was pretty small, but it was clean and had a door that opened onto the street. Noisy at night, but I had no problem with that as was expecting this in this area of the city. I walked everywhere, to all the attractions and parks and did not need public transport. Everywhere was within an hour and a half walk away. Lots of restaurants, bars and shops and the lovely food market just a couple of minutes away! My only criticism was there was no water for a shower on my final day, and the person on reception was busy and of course I was then dressed and ready to leave, so I had to pay to go to a public swimming pool which was frustrating as I wanted to shower before my flight home.
