It was nice property very close to Placa Reial and the port for our cruise. They had clean rooms and helpful staff. Really appreciated the water, including sparkling, on tap in the hallway. So needed.

The hotel is in prime location. About 5 min walk to cathedral. 2 mins walk to the famous indoor market. Loads of bakeries, restaurants on the door step. Even local Irish pub selling 2 pints of beer for about 6 euros next to kfc and macdonalds opposite hotel. Breakfast is good basic continental everything you need englisg breakfast , cold meats , pastries etc. Hotel is very clean would stay here again

Our first time in Barcelona and we are so glad we chose to stay at the Oriente Atiram. Situated on Las Ramblas, the hotel is in a great location for shopping and food. The hotel itself was very clean, well presented with glamour and good facilities. Our room was always cleaned to a high standard. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you to all the staff.

The hotel should advise guests that the area is going through construction. It is loud , dusty and super noisy all night and day from loud a drunk tourists and people trying to sell unwanted services. The property is old and very badly kept. Air conditioner that doesn’t properly work, while outside is 97 F / 35C or so. It rattled all night when in use. They had left a rock on the room so you had to hit it and then it would stop for 5 minutes and start again. The bathroom sink and shower that wouldn’t flow. Super small for 4 people and 350$ a night. I have been traveling for 35 years and this was my worse ever. If you like to be tortured book it otherwise I would recommend Expedia take it out of their site. It is mine and family opinion. VM

Hubo demasiado calor en la habitación, el elevador estuvo roto en dos ocasiones, el agua en el baño en los dos últimos días no calentaba a ninguna hora y a pesar de haber solicitado una habitación matrimonial, nos ubicaron en una habitación con dos camas personales pequeñas que hubo que unir ya que no cabíamos los dos en una sola. No tenía plancha para planchar la ropa El desayuno que ofrecen en el hotel aunque no estaba incluido por lo que yo podía elegirlo o no, era todos los días lo mismo.

I like the staff and the location. It was not easy to find quickly a Uber in the area for the traffic but was not a big problem. I would recommend to upgrading the towels.

Great central location, walking distance to the Metro and to the Gothic Quarter. A little bit further and you reach the port. Lovely staff friendly, chatty and helpful decent size rooms with very very powerful showers! The only other comment I would make is that the breakfast wasn’t that amazing.

Best location!
You cannot beat the location of this hotel. It’s right on Las Ramblas directly across the street from Placa Reial where you can find restaurants, bars and live flamenco shows. It’s a 2 min walk to the waterfront, the Christopher Colombus monument and a huge shopping mall. The rooms were clean and comfy and we even had a balcony overlooking the street. I would stay here again!
