Moved out of original room as bathroom fan was broken and making a loud screeching noise that was intolerable also heating was not working. The next room smelled of mildew and tub was plugged. At this point in evening I sucked it up feeling defeated. Not a good experience.

Great that it's right on the highway but that makes it loud. Couldn't get the fan to stay on to mask it. Very large accessible room with lots of space, one chair plus desk/desk chair, small microwave & fridge, large accessible bathroom. Noisy location. I could see a stain on the mattress through the mattress cover so I slept on the sheet, bed was a bit hard for me. But the place is overall well kept for its age, floors clean and new carpet, clean bathroom, comfortable, giant double closet and large dresser if you're staying awhile (I wasn't). Nothing much of note here. Night staff was very nice. Continental breakfast.

The Stafford Uber friendly very helpful and courteous! Any items I needed were promptly delivered to my room or give it to me at the front desk! The breakfast was decent for the price unfortunately it's only open for breakfast on the weekend! It was conveniently located by the highway and about 5 minutes from other dining facilities! The pool is small I have the hot tub in the room which is good and everything worked well the bed was soft the pillows were great had a great night's sleep good place to stay

Skip the hot breakfast
The hot breakfast was not worth the $8. The home style potatoes were dry and hard, and the eggs were terrible. Better off going to Tim Hortons next door for a farmer’s wrap. However the stay at the hotel was overall good.

I stayed at the Monte Carlo for my wedding, I was there 3 days. We got the deluxe queen suite that had a Livingroom and hot tub. I was honestly so disappointed. The room seemed unfinished with very poor lighting, a tv bolted to the wall without being able to move it to a better position for watching, and very limited seating. There was a office chair and a loveseat. The dark walls and two dim lights in the livingroom made the room almost depressing. The lack of seating made entertaining friends who had come for the wedding hard. Oh and the elevator was broken (NOT the staff's fault) so every time I wanted to go outside for a smoke or to see someone coming for the wedding I had to go up and down 3 flights of stairs. This actually caused me to have a massively swollen ankle as I have weak ankles and I was unable to wear my wedding shoes for my wedding or even get many wedding day photos because I was in too much pain to stand. The Staff though were truly wonderful and kind, they did change the light bulbs to brighter ones and brought up an extra lamp. The room was clean and they even refreshed it for me the day of my wedding adding some little extras to try and help make things a wee bit better.
