Snuggle up with a cup of coffee or hot cocoa on the couch by a wood burning fireplace. This cozy home is nestled on a wooded lot with an outdoor firepit, deck with a dining table and gas grill. The outdoor space is magical at night with string lights strung throughout the yard. The space is renovated with high end finishes of handmade tiles, marble and quartz.

This hidden getaway is a cozy beach cottage located on a wooded private lot with beautiful river views. The home is completely renovated to reflect a calm coast vibe. Enjoy taking the kayas out to the water, sitting on the beach watching all the boats go by or cooking up some food on the gas grill. Enjoy an evening outside roasting marshmallows and sipping some wine by the wood firepit. Inside snuggle up on the couch by the wood burning fireplace.

Love this cottage
We actually enjoyed everything about staying at this property. The host was incredibly responsive, the house is clean. It had everything we needed. Lots of sleeping space. We only wish we could’ve enjoyed the lake more. We had plans for most of the time, but it was serene, and I have definitely referred a couple of my friends to it for future use. If we come to Chicago area again, we will definitely stay here. The location was great as well, close to lots of shopping and restaurants, but yet quiet and relaxing.

Great place to stay
We had a fantastic stay at Amanda’s place. The home is beautiful, and right by water. It’s peaceful and has a fantastic backyard with beautiful lights! We used the kitchen through the weekend and it was well stocked. The only real issue we had was the smell in the water. Because the water is well water it has a fish like smell and so we opted to drink only bottled water though Amanda did assure us it was safe. One bathroom can also be an issue depending on the size of the group but our group of 5 was able to make it work. Amanda was incredibly responsive and solved any problems we had quickly. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quaint getaway!
