Sweet place to stay
We went to Basalt to fly fish the Gold Medal waters for a couple of days. We loved that our VRBO was in town close to restaurants. It was very quiet and updated. The bed was extremely comfortable. It met all of our needs.

Perfect Spot for our family getaway
Couldn’t have asked for a better spot and a more easy process. We come to the Roaring Fork Valley every fall and love every inch of the place. This place was the perfect location for us to go to hot springs, see friends in Carbondale and Aspen while also spending great family time in Basalt. Close to parks, trails, fishing, food, you name it! Our daughter loved being near the river and meals were easy to prepare in the open, stocked kitchen. Grateful to be able to enjoy our trip from such a beautiful location.

Perfect spot!
This condo was such a great stay. It was a great size for just us 2 or possibly one more if they dont mind sleeping on the sofa. It is a loft condo! which is very neat but not great for privacy if you have extra persons. The design and style was modern and sleek. It was very clean. The access was very easy. It was very quiet. The river is literally out the back patio door! We spent a good amount of time out there. Things I would have liked to have known. There is a skylight which is cool but it means when the sun is up, its up haha. The pillows are feather pillows which super comfy but not great for allergies! The AC is a window AC which works but is taped in and made us nervous to maneuver. It is right across from the school and walking distance to the park, 7/11 and old town basalt. Right down the road from Roaring fork club and only 15-20 min from all other towns you may want to check out. Overall it was a great stay. We would love to come back and stay again!

Perfect Location, Perfect Size, Perfect Price
Wife and I stayed here for a long weekend. It was the perfect location right on the river. Close to Aspen and all of the areas we wanted to visit. The price was amazing! It was a very large one bedroom, that was well appointed. The host was amazing and let us check in early. We will definitely be back next year!

just a note
I wanted to message the host directly but could not figure out how to do that. We really enjoyed our stay and would like to stay again. However, it ended on a sour note. The check out time is 11am. We decided to go for a walk before we left. We returned at 10am. The housekeeper had already entered the property and the front door was unlocked. We had cash, credit cards and other valuables still in the unit. Not cool!!

Very clean and comfortable. It is true for those who need darkness to sleep and enjoy blackout curtains in the morning, this place isn't for you. But early risers delight!! It is also true the air conditioning equates to cool Colorado evening air. Keep those windows open at night and those ceiling fans going during the day and you'll be fine. To that end, the only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars for cleanliness is the screens need to be replaced on both windows and the sliding door. Great stay, thank you!!

So glad we stayed here!
This property was wonderful and I'm so glad we stayed here. It's much more affordable than Aspen, but we still went to Aspen daily and it wasn't a bad drive. We were also closer to Carbondale so we felt like we had easy access to more places by not staying all the way in Aspen. The location overlooking the river is so special, and very relaxing. The house was clean and perfectly designed, and we felt very comfortable there. It had everything we needed and was as expected, if not better! It's perfect for quiet people but not if you want to party or be loud. Many of the neighbors are residents. So unless you're a party animal, stay here!

Great place to stay on the river
We have stayed at this property 2 times now and have thoroughly enjoyed our stays. Being next to the river is a treat. The place is very comfortable and feels newly remodeled. Easy walk to town. Plenty of cooking utensils etc in case want to cook and not eat out. Note: the bedroom is on second floor, bathroom on first floor and is very small.
