The villa overlooks the remarkable Lake Batak, a picturesque location in Sout-West Bulgaria.It is at a distance of only 83 miles (140 km) from Sofia International Aiirport and 50 miles (80 km) from Plovdiv International Airport.
The villa has three bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have a double bed and the third has 2 separate,single beds. Each one has a balcony with stunning lake/mountain views.
Downstairs,there is a comfortable lounge with log burner and a very well-equipped kitchen/diner. The adjoining terrace has superb panoramic views and provides a wonderful place for '.al fresco' dining. Satellite TV and Wi-Fi internet and a barbecue are provided.
There is a lovely garden, with a variety of plants and fruit trees.
The villa is an ideal place to rest and relax but there are ample opportunities for outdoor as walking and birdwatching plus cycling,fishing and water sports (rental facilities are located in Tsigov Chark only 2 km from the villa).5 km away is the historic town of Batak with interesting churches and museums.
Within half an hour of the villa you can visit waterfalls (at Fotinovo), ancient fortresses (at Tsepina and Peshtera), the Jurassic Museum (at Dorkovo), caves with fascinating rock formations (Snezhanka and Lepenitsa), childrens' via ferrata at Rakitovo, the amazing Septemvri-Dobrinishte narrow gauge railway and hot mineral water swimming pools in several locations including Velingrad ( 'the spa capital of the Balkans').
Within easy reach for a day trip are Bansko ( for skiing, outdoor pusuits and an international standard golf course) and Plovdiv (European Capital of Culture 2019).
The beautuful Greek beaches of the Aegean near stunning and historic Kavala can be reached with 4 hours.

Wir waren im Sommer hier und haben eine sehr schöne Zeit gehabt; die Sonnenaufgänge sind wirklich grandios, dafür kann man schon mal früh aufstehen. Das Haus liegt (noch) schön allein, es ist für bulgarische Verhältnisse top. Etwas mehr Kochgeschirr wäre wünschenswert. Leider kann man im See nicht baden, aber die Umgebung ist sehr sehens- und erlebenswert, vor allem natürlich die Rhodopenbahn und die kleinen Gemüsestände an den Straßen. Auto ist auf jeden Fall erforderlich. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und alles lief unkompliziert.

Une vue magnifique !
Nous garderons de très bons souvenirs de notre séjour dans la Maison Verte. Idéalement située entre lacs et montagnes, nous avons pu faire de très belle ballades. La maison est très calme , agréables et spacieuse (nous étions 6). (améliorations possibles: ajouter un lave linge et faire un système de douches qui n'inondent pas toute la salle de bain) .

La maison de Michael est située sur les rives du lac de Batak, elle est spacieuse, très bien équipée. Chaque balcon a une vue sur le lac absolument superbe. Le propriétaire est extrêmement accueillant et disponible. N'hésitez pas....
