CITY VIEW - BATH - a 2 bed apartment that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms

The city view apartment is arranged over the first and second floor of 11 Southcot Place.

Access via the front door of the property leads to the communal hallway. From here the apartment has its own private entrance. The first floor living area provides an extremely comfortable and welcoming space for 4 to 5 people with two large sofas. Entertainment is provided by a 50" UHD Smart TV. A mesh network has been installed to ensure maximum possible wifi bandwidth throughout the property, provided free of charge.

For meal times the Kitchen/Dining Area has views overlooking the rear garden and out towards Bath city centre and the nearby Bathwick Hill, a popular spot for walkers. The Kitchen is fully equipped with induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave oven, extractor fan, toaster and kettle.

On the mezzanine between the 2 floors there is a modern bathroom with power shower, wash basin and WC. Between the stairwell entrance and the first floor there is a convenient utility room with second WC. The utility also houses an iron and ironing board for guest use.

As part of its refurbishment, underfloor heating was fitted to the bathroom and efficient radiators everywhere else. There are fully automatic heating circuits that ensure the two floors are warm and toasty when required, but not oppressively so, overnight.

The Top Floor has two large double bedrooms. The bedrooms have high quality, extremely comfortable Vi-Spring beds with crisp white cotton bedding. All rooms have a minimalist feel and are finished with hand-made linen curtains and /or roman blinds. There is plenty of storage space with a chest of drawers and a hanging rail to each bedroom. A hairdryer is also provided for your use.

Whilst this is a great space, the staircases (without stairgates and with wide gaps between stanchions), could present particular challenges to those with mobility problems and potentially for families with small children.

Fabulous apartment
This is a beautiful apartment very close to the train station and amenities once you suss out the pedestrian bridge over the river. The place was spotless and with everything you need for a stay. We didn’t cook as we ate out but there seemed to be enough of everything For a group. The beds were super comfortable too.

Great flat and location
The flat is spacious, very cosy and clean. The views from the flat are gorgeous as well the surroundings that are cut by two rivers whose riverbanks allow bucolic walks. The area where the flat is located is quite and conveniently 5 mon away from the train station. We will rent this flat again in our next stay in Bath.
