What a wonderful place to stay
What a wonderful place to stay in Frome. Built in 1604, it is a fantastic house. The rooms are lovely & Claire is a fantastic host - wonderful breakfast on bot h days for us. We would highly recommend Rook Lane House.

Lovely room in Frome
We had a lovely 2 night stay. Our room was spacious and very clean complimented by historical features. Breakfast was superb, Claire was a great host. Ideally situated to explore Frome. Highly recommended!

Claire was by far the most incredible host I've ever had the pleasure of staying with. She was so kind and helpful and made the entire experience so enjoyable. I couldn't recommend Rook Lane House enough if you plan on coming through Frome. It's a 13 minute walk from the Frome train station, and a 5 minute walk to the "downtown" area. The homemade breakfast was also fantastic. I will definitely be staying here again if I come back!

Little Gem
Great experience from start to finish. Claire was helpful and friendly and cooked an amazing breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble, and we had a great nights sleep. Parking was secure, and the House is within easy walking distance of the shops, restaurants and bars serving great food. We will stay again when next in Frome, highly recommended.

This is in a very old house, but they have renovated to a very high standard. The rooms and facilities are comfortable, the host is fantastic, and the breakfast was great. Warm and welcoming, this was a great break from work. The town of Frome had the festival on and all the little shops and old lanes had put on such a great time for us even with the rain.

It is a beautiful house,dating in part from the 17th century. It is totally unique in having a Priest Hole behind a glass door in the dining room. Claire was very welcoming and very helpful and friendly. Parking is excellent. Our room had everything that we could expect. The breakfast was also excellent. A superb B&B - highly recommended.

We felt totally confident staying at Rook Lane House and would thoroughly recommend it - beautiful accommodation, delicious breakfast and along with a very warm welcome, our hostess ensured a very comfortable experience, with every effort made to provide a Covid-free stay for guests. Rook Lane House
What a wonderful place to stay & such a lovely host. We were only at Rook Lane House for 1 night visting family in Frome but will defintely be back. The room we had was huge & very comfortable, the bed was so comfy & the shower enormous. We didn't have breakfast but could smell some wonderful aromas coming from the kitchen. Location for the centre of Frome is perfect, it's just a short walk down the hill & then you are there. As a 16th century house it has everything that you could want, history with modern comforts.

What a hostess Claire is, nothing was a problem. She coped well with staggering breakfasts due to Covid and it was so good we have booked before we go to Glastonbury next year
