It took me a couple moments to find the entrance to the hotel as it is somewhat tucked away between some of the many restaurants. However, once i found it and made my way in I have nothing but positive things to say. The staff were kind and helpful and the main lobby was clean and elegant in looks. The room was yes a bit small, but when you're a single traveler it works perfectly well. It was clean and modern and had all the usual amenities one looks for. The bed was a bit stiffer than I personally like, but overall that is a minor thing compared to the rest of the excellent experi had while at The Z Hotel, would definitely book there again.

Great value for money located right in the city centre. The staff throughout the stay were all fantastic- both friendly and professional. The room itself was a junior suite, I was unsure about not having a window, but the room was so quiet and comfortable we slept well. Lovely shower, toiletries and drink making facilities - very nice to have oat milk sachets. Breakfast was ideal, nice healthy options and drinks included. Overall very impressed and will definitely stay again.

These rooms are very very small and the bathroom is see through - so it was difficult traveling with a family. The staff is wonderful and the breakfast was delicious. It is a very convenient location in Bath !!

I don’t know how the hotel has such good reviews. We paid a premium for a room with a window. The window didn’t open and was frosted, looking onto a wall. Completely different to advertised. The air con was ineffective and because we couldn’t open the window, our room was sweltering. Staff were very friendly and polite but weren’t able to offer a resolution. The room was tiny, although this was as advertised so was expected. Location was excellent. There was limited tea, coffee and toiletries in the room although we were able to ask for more.

We stayed for three days. Second day, our room hasn't been cleaned or checked. We notified the reception, they said the housekeeping is every after 2 days. And no one even collected our bins. The shower and toilet area are all glass wall. No privacy at all. There's only 2 positive that I could say: staffs were at least accommodating and the hotel is convenient to all tourist attraction.

Very friendly staff greeted you at the reception desk. Vacating at 11am was very good as many do 10am. I had a long journey ahead of me after a lovely wedding the day before so i appreciated that extra time to pack again ! I was a lone traveller but felt safe in and around the hotel. Plenty of shops nearby and restaurants. Would stay again.

the property at first look was modern and a good size but after properly looking around we found lots of dirt and dust and cobwebs in easily reached places that should’ve been cleaned. The staff were friendly and helpful and all the facilities that came with the room were great (soap, hairdryer and extra loo roll). It was a bit of a let down as me and my partner are big on cleanliness and thought that staying in bath would have been a better standard.

Greatest staff in the UK

I can't walk and went with crutches, and the staff was super helpful and nice throughout all my stay. Lucky the hotel has a handicap room that made things effortless for me. I was truly impressed by the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. One of them walked a few blocks out of the hotel with my suitcase so a car could pick me up.

The bed was too small and up against the wall. Not good if you’re travelling with someone else. Neither of us had a good sleep. And if you wanted to put the light on in the bathroom you had to light up the whole room. Great location and clean BUT the main reason for a room is to sleep…..

The property was perfect for our overnighter. They are small rooms. This is not a complaint since we knew this going into it. Just be aware that it can be a little claustrophobic without a window.

The Z hotel is the perfect place to stay if you are interested in touring around Bath on foot. The location is so convenient. The rooms were fresh and clean. I loved the hot chocolate and coffee they provided. I would definitely like to return here!!
