The house if located walking distance to downtown Baton Rouge, the River Center, the Casino's and LSU is just 2 miles away about 5 minutes by car. There are shuttle buses available from down town to LSU during football season.

This Beautiful Acadian style home that has a combination of the old and the new. There are hard floors, horizontal wood walls and a claw foot tub in the master bathroom. The exterior is beautifully landscaped with Crape Myrtles and Red Roses

The Kitchen is to die for with every spice and cooking utensils you can imagine.


A large front porch with ceiling fans and Bistro tables and chairs. The home has been completely renovated with new appliances, bathrooms, bedding and two 55" and two 40" smart TV sets. There is high speed internet, WiFi and a printer, fax, scanner and surface phone charger on site. There is off street parking for up to six vehicles. We were there for the Nationals of bowling, we have stayed in quite a few Vrbo homes and this is one of the best. Frank our host was quick to reply to our questions. The home had everything you could possibly need. It was in a great location. Really close to the riverfront and all its parks and museums.

What can we say? The Napolean House is just about as good as it gets for vacation housing. All the furnishings and appliances are first rate, it's incredibly spacious, and the hosting touch is impeccable. Not to mention that the value is excellent. The house was beautiful and had all of your necessities and lots of extras. Clean and pleanty of room for all of us. We were a party of 7. Great neighborhood close to downtown where we had a family wedding to attend. Would recommended to anyone needing a rental in Baton Rouge. The BEST hidden gem in Baton Rouge
From the first contact with Frank, we knew this was the start of an amazing experience... he is the best!! Attentive, responsive, caring, understanding, timely, professional, courteous, thoughtful, thorough and a great communicator, who didn't mind answering our many questions... The home...OMG!!! Pictures were spot on... the house is gorgeous... peaceful...HUGE... had everything we needed and more... our family didn't want to leave... we were thrilled to be able to come back "home" and rest before heading out into traffic or running errands or if we wanted to just stay in, this home provided those options due to it's location and being filled with drinks and snacks (THANK YOU!!!) Each room of the home was cleaned spotless and provided masks, gloves and additional cleaning supplies... the chef's kitchen is the centerpiece of extra perfection... the home also has a driveway which is something you don't always see in Baton Rouge... we loved it... I could go on and on... we usually stay in hotels when we visit, not anymore... we have found our new home away from home... THANK YOU FRANK!!!
